Daily RadarWhile this "odyssey of obesity" may not be for everyone, beneath the dated look lies more than enough quality gameplay to appease "Dragon Warrior" fanatics and nostalgic retrogamers alike.
-
This is an un-pretentious little role playing game that doesn't try to be anything more than it is, and as a side-quest to a larger RPG universe, it succeeds.
-
If you're an RPG fan looking for some lighter fare, Torneko is a charming little adventure that manages to push the nostalgia button without feeling overly dated.
-
My colleague David Smith probably puts it best when he describes Torneko as Claymation Nethack -- something that's only good for people with no lives, no friends, no jobs and a lot of spare time on their hands.
-
It's an average game that suffers from mediocre implementation. Torneko: The Last Hope simply isn't very fun to play.
