Sound effects are good, and the inflated hitting physics that let you send the ball over the wall more often are fun--if that's what you're looking for.
The controls are almost too easy. Some may be disappointed that you are forced to use the analog stick, both when batting and when pitching.
If what you want is a sim, look elsewhere...It looks great, sounds great and most importantly plays great.
With realism aside, I still had a hard time hating this game. It is fun; I just had to forget all I know about baseball.
