Playstation Official Magazine UKIt's fun, it's frenzied. [Dec 2009, p.18]
-
Absolutely the best of the launch titles in our opinion, and one that should be right at the top of the list for anyone wanting to see what all the fuss is about. Lets hope multiplayer gets patched in at some point, even if we have to pay for it.
-
Fieldrunners is a quite entertaining tower-defense game that comes with tanks, motorbikes, helicopters and more. A disadvantage is that the levels are quite long, which is not the best, if you are around outside.
-
Fieldrunners doesn't do anything to advance to the tower defense genre, but if you're a PSP owner looking for a budget slice of real time strategy goodness, it's just what the doctor ordered.
-
With a clean, pleasing visual style and gameplay that reveals its nuances through natural play, Fieldrunners is a wonderfully crafted casual nugget. It's a shame that more hasn't been added for this version, but that's no reason not to surrender to its charm.
-
High-ranking tower defence tactical greatness that ends up perfectly suited to PSP play, Fieldrunners marches effortlessly on as one of the Minis launch highlights.
-
I don't know about you, but I prefer games that can hold my interest for more than five minutes and there are plenty of tower games out there that can do that.
