If you’re looking for portable Sports Entertainment, there is a lot to enjoy here. Creating your own stories is fun, you’ve got every match type the other games do, the TV-style presentation is great, and Create-A-Superstar is back, but none of it can shake the lackluster feel of the graphics and gameplay.

Overall, SVR on PSP remains a fun time, and it's unfair to expect a handheld offering to measure up to its console counterpart. So, in the context of a portable game, it's a good ol' slobber-knocker. [Holiday 2009, p.72]

The graphics are good for the psp, and theres lots of superstars to play as. They also have peset movesets for you to use tha are the movesets from past wwe superstars like brock lesner, booker t, ric flar, rvd, goldberg, breat hart amoung others, and you can easily create the characters. This is the best portable wrestling game avalible now. So much content and repayability that its more then worth the $20 it goes for now. Expand

Last year's game was all right, but it got stale too quickly. However, this year, if you're willing to put in a little extra time for the story creator, you can have a lot of fun with it. The character creation, and global attribute advancement, is a lot better this year. The Road to Wrestlemania is as fun as it's been, and career mode is pretty much the same as last year. The gameplay has changed a little, with a different control system, and the graphics haven't changed. Of course, on a handheld system, it pales in comparison to it's console counterparts. But, it's still a fun gaming experience for those looking for wrestling on the go. Expand

The graphics and details (the crowds for example) for these games have definitely gotten better over the last few games, and while not super impressive on their own, they're fine for the platform it's on. The roster also has better superstars than SvR 2011 in my opinion. All the entrances, Road to Wrestlemania cutscenes, music, and creation suite (including story designer) are here and perfectly implemented. However, gameplay can be slow and compared to 2011, this game doesn't have as much content-wise. Perfect if you're looking for a fun portable experience with these games, but not comparable to the vastly better console versions of this game. Expand

This game isn't that great. Horrible graphics, repetitive gameplay, don't add up to what this game was before.
