As a fan of momentum based platformers, I enjoyed playing Skater Cat and can see myself going back to replay some of the levels to improve my time, especially if I am able to get some StreetPasses. Although, if you’re not a fan of the genre, you may find that Skater Cat is in need of more variety and increased content to be a stand out eShop title.
I just wish the level design better lived up to its potential. Skater Cat is a charming, enthralling game inhibited by a bloated amount of lesser content that regrettably comprises most of the experience.
Skater Cat's catchy tune (yes, there's only one) and acceptable graphical environments are not nearly enough to redeem what is an overwhelming exercise of repeating the same formula, the same mechanics and the exact same pattern again and again...Many aspects of this game need to be revised if it is ever aiming at becoming something worth considering.
