Since I saw no reviews of the game so I had to write one. The enemies are repetitive, the music is just awesome, I liked the sound effects and the graphics are really nice but the enemies look blocky when they are far away which is a bit strange. The game is far from perfect and I wish it would have more levels. I have spent couple of evenings playing the game and I completed it three times and I enjoyed it every time. I wish they will publish a dlc with more levels or a follow-up with more enemies and boss fights but with less cheap shots. If the game would have more variation and stages then it could be a Cthulhu classic. It might not be for everyone but I had fun with it despite the imperfections. All I need is more Yog-Sothery

The monsters are repetitive, the sound effects get annoying, the maps are repetitive and you can’t pause. You get one weapon and it never changes so it’s hard to fight the bosses and Cthulhu only shows up during the credits. Not worth your money but not as bad as everyone says

One of the worst games i ever played.
No character HUD, no pause menu, basic and pointless.
You can just run and jump over mobs to finish the lvl "parts", there is no need to even have to fight apart from the 2 bosses.
Played it and deleted it. Wont play it again and i cant recommend anyone to do it.

I had to make an account after playing this game on stream for October. While there was a decent song and a decent piece of art or two, the rest of the game is a mess. The gameplay is shallow, bordering on broken--and in no way jives with the Lovecraft theme it seems to be striving for. The worst part is how barebones the experience is--there's no HUD, for controls there's only jump and attack, barely any enemy variety, only two bosses, virtually no story... there isn't even a pause screen! The whole game can be experienced in about ten minutes, but it would be a waste of your money and the ten minutes.

Who would ever think “hm yes this looks good and fun” and decide to release this. The moment main character sprite walked I couldn’t hold my laugh. Definitely feels like a unity tutorial game.
