At its core, Bramble: The Mountain King is a storybook brought to life in the best way possible. Olle’s search for his sister is a wonderful journey inspired by Nordic folklore that is aided by magnificent landscapes, unsettling mythological creatures and an intriguing narrative that culminates in a touching tale of bravery in the face of darkness.
Bramble: The Mountain King is a fascinating adventure. Each character you meet on your Nordic expedition is wonderfully designed and will instantly capture your imagination. Even though the movement is a little rigid and the game is extremely linear, it manages to deliver a unique experience that will fester in your psyche.

An amazing game. Amazing story, amazing gameplay and a fun ride. This game is one of the best games I've ever played. It's a great story, and the feel of the game is something that comes easy to those playing it. Great graphics and easy to pick up.

This is an incredible story.I heard it was a good game,but, to be honest,Bramble became one of my favorites. The combination between magic, horror and folklore is fantastic.

Bramble: The Mountain King might not be the best game for players who like challenging puzzles and advanced platform sections, but it is a very interesting adventure game with dark themes and enough diversity in gameplay to keep the game interesting.
A collection of Nordic telltales, easy to understand for everybody. While gruesome visual is increasing overall immersion, it is quite regretful that the game is offering somewhat short story, monotonous boss battle and puzzles.
Bramble: The Mountain King combines elements of an under-explored culture in games to create a great fantasy and horror experience. It's a game that's definitely worth checking out if you're a fan of the genre.

It’s a shame Bramble: The Mountain King has such frustrating level design drawbacks because it undercuts a beautifully dark and disturbing fable. It’s not doing a whole lot as a game that helps it stick out either, but the narrative structure behind it rescues it from the clutches of true disappointment.
It's a hidden gem, I don't have the exact words to describe this true work of art, just know if you play it for sure you'll love it. It has incredible graphics, great sound and an interesting narrative. In addition, the design of the enemies are memorable.

Gorgeous graphics, fitting soundtrack and decent narration. Controls are serviceable but the journey almost never allows the player to venture off its strictly linear path. There are next to no secrets to be found along the way save for 11 figurines, which could have added some much needed exploration to this direly straightforward adventure.
The game’s camera is restricting in that it is fixed and won't accommodate areas the player cannot go. The stages are also restricting with invisible walls. These limitations often force the player down a single path in one of the most linear modern video games I have played. It borrows from Little Nightmares and God of War at times but in a good way. I wish load times weren't so long on PS4, however the character does respawn quickly with no load times to speak of.
I cannot stress how beautiful this game is. The music really stands out at times, especially a couple of songs with female vocals. The boss fights really ramp up in the latter half of the game but never so challenging for me to rage quit. The puzzles were also pretty easy. The dark themes of Nordic folklore were all well presented. Even with its shortcomings, I was compelled to see this story to the end. I probably spent around 8 hours in total on my first playthrough between dying and searching for collectibles.

Short and different kind of game. It takes about 5 hours to beat. You'll probably die many times but most times you'll respawn right before you died. As you can't change difficulty you'll also find a few bosses a bit challenging but, nothing that you cannot beat overtime. The first hour or so is like a fairy tale kind of game but it becomes darker, darker. Not a game for kids, that's for sure. It's rating +18 but honestly, teenagers of 16 years old could play this game and probably some of around 12-13. I think this game deserve a rating of 6-7. It's not a bad game but it's not a mindblown game either.

I thought this game was incredibly boring unfortunately. The story and theme were enjoyable - it’s why I bought it and I imagine why it has any audience at all - but that’s about it. It’s just pushing the character along a predetermined path with occasional “puzzles” that were no barely a challenge. I’ve sunk a few hours into it hoping it will pick up speed at some point but it all feels like like an extended tutorial. Movement is slow, controls are extremely limited, it becomes boring quickly. I regret paying full price for this. Do yourself a favor and get something like Little Nightmares, Inside, or Limbo instead. Sorry, but this one just wasn’t it for me.

Stunningly beautiful, an unexpected gem. While there's not much in terms of gameplay, the presentation, monster design and atmosphere create a harrowing, unforgettable experience. A very well done game
