Nintendo Force MagazineApr 25, 2018It's wonderfully rewarding when you execute the plans you've made in your brain and see them actually work as intended. [Issue #33 – May/June 2018, p. 24]
-
Mar 10, 2018With Portal, Bridge Constructor feeds on new logic mechanics, with a neater appearance, the particular sense of humour of GLaDOS and, of course, portals. A good choice for your Switch catalogue if the logic genre is to your liking.
-
Mar 14, 2018Bridge Constructor Portal is more than just a Valve themed reskin. Developer ClockStone have incorporated the fan favourite series with great elegance, using portals and their well-known physics based puzzle mechanics to genuinely spice up the Bridge building gameplay. Highly recommended to any fans of the Portal series.
-
Mar 8, 2018Bridge Constructor Portal will turn your brain’s valve with some physics fun, but it’s little more than a collection of challenges coated in a familiar cake frosting.
-
Apr 9, 2018Bridge Constructor Portal does a very good job at blending the two series and at portraying the world of Portal in the Bridge Constructor series. The game features well defined gameplay mechanics and a long lifespan, as well as some unexpected humour, which makes up for its rather high price compared to the version available for mobile platforms.
-
Mar 16, 2018I would have given the game four out of five, but the price of the game on Switch compared to the mobile versions is nearly triple the price without justification. If you can overlook the price differences, it really is a good game and will keep you busy while we wait for Half-Life 3.
-
Feb 28, 2018Obviously, a game-breaking bug is a serious problem, but I was tired of Bridge Constructor Portal long before my progress was abruptly halted. This game falls short in just about every area; an amusing story or eye-catching visual design could have at least distracted from the dull puzzles, but you get no reprieve here.
