Castle of Heart is a fun platformer with an interestingly challenging twist. The levels are well designed, but depending on skill, they may not take too long. The story is your run of the mill " slay the bad guy and save the girl" plot, but that meshes perfectly with a world of knights and monsters.
It feels perhaps a bit too linear at times, when some environments could have probably benefited from being more open to exploration but, nevertheless, it is well worth checking out. Its price is a bit steep for the amount of content currently, but those who strive to complete it 100%, finding all the crystals, should get their money's worth.

Hey there. So I bought this game when it was $1.99 which I'm assuming was a sale price. And this game in my honest opinion has already given me a solid 3 hours of fun. I have only beaten the first four levels, (the levels are long) and I am excited to continue playing it, I am very impressed . Other then just a couple things Its almost a perfect platforming game. The mechanics are smooth and it t has tons of good ideas built into it. I am i would honestly be willing to pay the full 10$ for this game its definitely worth a 10 rating at 2$ without any doubt. Next time its on sale I highly recommend just buying it, you won't regret it

Niveles muy bien trabajados con un apartado gráfico decente, música a la altura y una dificultad que implica ensayo y error pese a lo corto que puede llegar a resultar. Sin embargo la rejugabilidad, conseguirlo todo y revelar pasajes secretos es una motivación para continuar disfrutando este juego. Un gran ejemplo de cómo se debe hacer un Metroidvania.

There are loads of weapons to pick up and use – from the long-ranged spear to the crossbow, and several shorter-ranged melee options as well, and the Knight will always have his trusty sword too. By the end of Castle of Heart, you’ll feel satisfied that you undertook the journey, and while there’s no real reason to replay the adventure, you’ll still be glad you saw it through to the end. I was.
Castle of Heart looks great and offers a stern challenge to those who don't mind repeatedly playing the same level over and over before finally beating it and moving on. There's definitely some fun to be had finding the best route through each stage and delicately picking off enemies, but the constantly-depleting health bar and frustrating combat will have many players giving up and moving onto games which are less harmful to their general well being.
Needless to say, Castle Of Heart isn’t a good game. Its humdrum platforming mixed with shoddy animations and sluggish controls makes for a rather dopey gaming experience. While the game’s main gimmick of keeping your life afloat does have some potential, it’s never quite implemented well enough to stir up anything new or interesting.
Poor production, so-so gameplay. No matter how you look at it, Castle of Heart is as dull as a generic sword sold by a random blacksmith.
I cannot overstate how pointless and infuriating Castle of Heart feels to play.

para lo que es, este titulo es bonito. Divertido, adictivo y te encontraras ante un reto si decides probarlo. Realmente te lo recomiendo si lo pillas en oferta.

Castle of Heart is a great 2.5D action platformer with beautiful levels and well designed enemies. Where it falls down is it controls with a platformer like this tight controls are a must and it sometimes becomes frustrating when deaths are not your fault.
That being said if you can find this on sale like I did and work past the frustration then there is 4-8 hours of fun to be had with this game.

Отвратительная игра. Выглядит не очень то и плохо но сама отвратительна. Идея с отпадающей рукой может и не плоха, но в остальном все плохо. Так себе уровни которы назло ещё длинные, ужасные боссы которых фиг поймешь как победить. Ещё был случай когда в уровне зависло все: шкала жизни, враги, посторонние предметы. Я не долго думая пробежал весь уровень. Игру не советую, разве что тем кто любит пощекотать нервишки.

There's some creative fun to be had in a few of the levels. But by the time you get to the first boss you'll be lukewarm on it. The first boss is just broken in my opinion, I spent far longer than I'd care to admit on it. It stopped being fun or tough-but-fair, and just felt like poorly designed trash. It frustrated me beyond belief. So yeah, I wouldn't recommend this game to anyone.
