  • Summary: Drive Buy is a cross-play vehicle combat game with a delivery twist. To win, drivers must hustle the most deliveries and shake down rival drivers with powerups. The intoxicating mix of deliveries and rivalries sets the perfect stage for peacocking, surprise and revenge.

Drive Buy stands out as a something different for a studio best known for entries in other genres. The game is based solely on the premise that multiplayer fun can trump other issues, but sadly Drive Buy misses the mark at this point in time. The game will receive post-launch support with a focus on adding new content through a season style progression system, however, so there's still some hope. Drive Buy currently has sparse moments of engaging and satisfying gameplay, but there is a lot of potential here and its future will be worth keeping an eye on even if its present is fairly unappealing.

I don't know why more games don't use a code to join, it's so much easier than friending a bunch of players cross-platform. Just say the code, get into the game like jackbox games.

If you want frantic fun in short bursts, this IS THE ONE! Crossplay and cross progression, it has that!

Really you can play this game for hours and have new things happen. The feeling of having a mine on my vehicle ready to blow, only to just manage to spin around and it flies off and lands on another player is probably one of the most satisfying feelings to me.

It works really well playing with friends and the easy room codes & cross-play/cross-progression make it easier to get your friends together. You can choose to add bots or other random players if you need to fill up so even if your whole squad can't play you can have a great time.

The different game modes and levels focus on different skills and types of player so it's a good variety to play - combined with the short match durations - Drive Buy is one of those games where it's always one more round - always one more chance to turn the tables and come out on top.
