For an Indie title, this game has been one of my favourites. It is definitely something to get stuck into and perfect to kill a bit of free time. I feel it fits the needs of so many gamers at the moment, a nice break from all the overly saturated game genres we currently play. It is beautiful, both visually and audibly. Nothing seemed broken or negatively affected gameplay in any way. I couldn't really give a suggestion on how to make this game any better. It is just right, which to me gives this game a well deserved perfect ten. What a great little title.
Filament is a game with an amazing story and challenging puzzles. While the main puzzles can be somewhat frustrating at times, they provide a good challenge for players looking for some harder puzzles, and solving the hidden puzzles is one of the most satisfying gameplay experiences available. If Beard Envy were to make a walking simulator, it would be one of the best games in the genre. As it stands, Filament is a very good puzzle game.

If you’ve got the chops, grab hold of this. And there’s a good way to
find out, since the game has a demo. I shall sadly bow out, which I
realise doesn’t make this the most helpful of reviews. But you know,
sometimes things are hard.
But the relaxation comes to an end very quickly and highly concentrated brooding takes its place.
Filament is a unique and robust take on the traditional puzzler. It’s colorful, satisfying, and rife with characters and situations you want to know more about, which pushes you to keep playing, even when your brain feels positively exhausted. If you’re looking for a slick puzzler that’ll have you mired in your chair for hours turning around solutions, look no further.
Filament provides a brand-new puzzle challenge that is well-designed. Just be prepared for a steep challenge at times.
Filament offers around 300 puzzles ranging from easy to extremely challenging, with some being mind-boggling. With a variety of puzzle mechanics used, gameplay is kept from getting repetitive. Investigating the happenings of the crew is interesting, although the ending is potentially vague and confusing.
Lets be honest, if a Puzzle game is a breeze, then what is the point, and, yeah, some of the Puzzles in Filament are real brain bogglers that will have you stumped for hours, but then again, if you didn't want a challenge you wouldn't be considering this purchase would you? Suppose the question is, how much pain can you take before it's no longer enjoyable. You WILL need quite a high pain threshold to get through this game. You have been warned.
The game puts you aboard a Spaceship, with crew missing. What happened to them? What is the purpose of the ships mission? As you would expect, the story unfolds as you solve sets of Puzzles based on the simple mechanic of connecting circuit pillars in a set order using a filament of electric wire. Simples right?
Once the rules of Puzzle sets click, then the solving of them are a beautifully fluid sweep of the controller to solve that takes seconds, whilst others are rage inducing head ***** that take hours, including several rest periods, to solve.
The real beauty of the game is that scratch the surface, and layers of puzzles within puzzles will be discovered, much like the awesome "Witness" an enquiring mind will find a lot to keep it occupied.
I came for the Puzzles, but left touched and intrigued by the well written story line and character relationships.
In the final analysis, there are an uncomfortably large amount of Puzzles, and that can be overwhelming. But that aside, if you like a Puzzle challenge I recommend this wholeheartedly.

A great soundtrack and simple yet hard puzzles.
Exploration could be better, and I wish there were more music tracks (they're amazing)
If you expect an indie game (for their obvious flaws), it's a 9.
the puzzles are hard as hell!
ok just finished the game. this type of endings rubs me the wrong way. downed to 8. left a bad taste in my mouth instead of a feeling of accomplishment.

No challenge in this game, just stupid trial and error ... Completely unsatisfying, many solutions are just coincidence. Don't even think that puzzles have quality similar to Talos Principle or The Witness. More over you have to search endless for puzzle - the "main hub" itself is boring and confusing.
