Dec 7, 2022This game was a 0 when it originally came out and the price-tag is too high for such a disgraceful lack of soul and content. Square Enix will just throw anything out and I think that's why I do not respect them. Final Fantasy Crisis Core for XBOX but not Remake for XBOX? This company is not loyal to its customer base and supporters. Jim Ryan completely dictates how they release games.

May 10, 2023This is an interesting anti-war story with two extensive campaigns told from two different perspectives, and with extensive options for customizing mechs and additional gameplay options. The game has impressive modern graphics, sound, and music. However, there are some problems: the length of the game can lead to monotony, and the only way to avoid this is by playing in small doses. The battles can occasionally feel too random, especially at the beginning of the main campaign. The controls could also be better.

Apr 26, 2023Front Mission 1st may have had a fresh coat of paint but the mechanisms inside this lumbering mech are starting to show their age.

Apr 5, 2023Front Mission 1st Remake is an easy recommendation as of today. I liked it at launch, but the updates have made it better, and there’s even a free demo if you aren’t sure about the genre or game. While the Switch is no stranger to quality tactical RPGs, I’m glad that I finally got to play Front Mission through Front Mission 1st Remake. I’m looking forward to getting a copy of the physical release in the future, and also playing Front Mission 2 Remake this June.
