Go Vacation is the perfect choice for those who look for a simple, immediate and varied joy. It is specially focused to multiplayer mode. It has lots of activities which despite being easy, will make us enjoy due to the tilt control and the local multiplayer option. Technically it could have been better.

There's a surprisingly vast amount of content to discover and unlock in what many may assume could have been a shallow selection. It's a refined package that, whilst still harks back to the Wii era, feels more in-line with the Nintendo Switch offering for the most part. There are some odd control decisions for solo Joy-Con users, and some odd mini-games in the pot, but Go Vacation is a solid destination to visit.

Not a bad option, but you should consider that this vacation isn't going to be the best.

Go Vacation presents a world full of games and activities that feel consistently average, with common flaws across the board making each game similarly dull, tiresome, and not worth the asking price. The game’s setting itself provides a welcome break from this, though, with an impressive amount of things to see and do at your own leisure injecting a much-needed dose of fun into the proceedings. Strangely, this is a multiplayer sports game that probably suits those looking for decent single-player exploration the most.

A party game clearly aimed at younger audience. Those looking for a fresh and light multiplayer experience will found what they're looking for, while single players must be warned: better wait for something more juicy.

Probably the idea looked better on paper. It’s not a bad game, but that Wii concept feels a little bit old now and the experience doesn’t hold up that well.

Go Vacation boasts an impressive number of sporty mini-games, but sadly its focus on quantity over quality makes for an entirely forgettable experience.

The visual improvements are nice and I like what they've done with the challenge system and the animal picture taking. My only gripe and the reason this is 9 stars is because of some of the things they've removed, such as pathfinder and other challenge achievements. Maybe they re-introduce them after a certain point, as I'm still unsure as to what you do with something in the challenge menu. A good/bad thing about the minigames is that they have changed the controls when you're using the full version, meaning a lot of games you only have to press a few buttons to play, compared to the motion on the Wii, which is still an option, but recommended only when you're playing on the TV. I have been playing this game for about 4-5 hours so far and I am enjoying it a lot. Does it have the same charm as Wii Sports Resort? No,I have been playing this game for about 4-5 hours so far and I am enjoying it a lot. Does it have the same charm as Wii Sports Resort? No, but it is good in its own way. There are many many many things to do in this game compared to the 12 activities in Wii Sports Resort. The game is fun and the different activities are fun. Only reason I gave it a 9 is because it still looks like a Wii game...

Update: 29 July 2018. My score stays the same, but there is something that I wish could be fixed. The camera is horrible. It is locked behind your avatar so you cannot look around freely. This makes it difficult when trying to find hidden items scattered across each resort. Other than the camera issue, the game is fun and I am having a blast with it!

A bad Wii game of 2011 (2 generations ago) for only 50 euros. Medieval control of a button and move joystick or joycon. It is easy and repetitive.
