The Switch, as a portable console, is great for this game. It’s always nice to have an infectious zombie on hand to pass the time when out and about. And though the gameplay itself is repetitive, it's a solid game with its tactical challenges and a great design.

A challenging and fun effort with an online-capable level editor, I, Zombie is not the most ambitious game every made and it's rather short and repetitive but that doesn't stand in the way of this being a good proposal for what it aims.

I, Zombie is a decent if short distraction that offers you the chance to play as a zombie and get your own back on the trigger-happy human race. Its gameplay may be overly simplistic but it’s fun enough to keep you engaged to the end. Unlike a zombie, this game is no rotting mess but it could certainly be a little fresher.

Zombie is a perfect fit for the Switch. It’s something that feels more fun to experience on the go instead of playing at home. The game is easy to pick up but can be difficult if you’re trying to get all three stars. While not great, it’s an enjoyable way to kill some time. It’s a nice palette cleanser from all of the AAA games on the market at the moment. If you’re into short experiences and casual games that you can have fun with a few minutes at a time, I, Zombie is worth checking out.

Thanks to the editor that adds this version of the game we’ll enjoy it for a longer time, trying crazy things and then sharing them. The game has several aspects to improve, but the final result is good enough.

Players who enjoy bite-sized puzzlers (with a bit of challenge to boot) and the ability to create their own levels might find this worth trying out. If you’re looking for something deeper, though, be mindful that, in this case, you’re not going to get much more than you’re paying for.

A little too easy. I love it, but I can't grade higher because it is incredibly short. Too few levels, and not enough mechanics and unit types. The level maker is a nice addition. Expand
