    The original game already looked quite good even today, but this remaster makes the original look completely outdated in comparison. Retro did not simply upscale the textures, but rebuilt everything almost entirely from scratch, to include more polygons, better lighting, and more effects.     Fantastic remaster! Retro Games has done an excellent job bringing this amazing game to an even higher level. One of my favorite games of all time, and this is the best way to play it. Please support Metroid games so Nintendo will realize how many people love these games!

    Bueno hace falta dar una opinión acerca de este juego, lo jugué en GC y WII es increíble independiente de si se ve mejor o no. Solo quiero decir que PIPEROS dan asco, son lo peor en el mundo de los videojuegos. Mejor vayan a ver su serie.

    This level of care, love and effort is rare to see in the gaming dev atmosphere nowadays. Retro studios really put all the work into making this version the MUST GO to play this masterpiece

    THE BACKTRACKING drains all the fun out at times. It’s made worse by tedious enemy respawns each time you return to certain rooms. Also, the map will make you got cross eyed after a while. It’s a good game, but it feels like a chore at times. Metroid Dread handled backtracking better with fast travel stations and new powerups allowing you to plow through low level enemies.     This isn't simply a remaster. Basically Everything was remade from the Ground up and I'm being serious when I say that this is one of the Best Looking Switch Games. The game itself is Great to Play with multiple control options. Both this and Metroid Dread are two of the best games you can get on the Console. I highly recommend Metroid Prime Remastered.

    I sold my Steam Deck to pay for this game and it was the best decision I ever made! I noticed most of the other people who owned one seemed to be: libertarian pirates who don't like/support the industry; people that only like graphics and don't really enjoy games; paedophiles; or all of the above. Thank you Nintendo and Metroid Prime for saving me and putting be back onto the right path ofI sold my Steam Deck to pay for this game and it was the best decision I ever made!     Is it at all surprising that this remaster is great? Metroid Prime is one of the greatest games ever made and this remaster just makes it look even better looking and with a better control scheme. What more could you want?

One of the few games (aside from MGS, OoT, and RE4) that I can say is flawless. Metroid Prime is THE reason I play(ed) video games and it is a testament to the sheer beauty and power of video games in general. It’s absolutely fantastic, the game has got to be built from the ground up because the original graphics weren’t even a problem but these new ones are so clean and fit so well. I mean the game is in HD and has better audio. The game runs like a gem at a stable 60fps, which is getting to be rare now with Switch games. Plus the fact you get to control the game like anWhere do I even begin?     My top one game from the cube , now we need the other two. The controls are perfect ,this is how remasters should be done . I’ve recently tried the Wii trilogy and you can really tell the huge improvement .

    This is an absolutely sublime remaster of a game that was already a masterpiece. The game runs flawlessly, looks incredible with the updated models and assets, and plays fantastic with a ton of various control options.     Retro Studios once again made it. The original on NGC was not only one of the best games on the system, but also one of the best ones ever. This total overhaul is even better. It feels great, looks beautiful, sounds incredible. This is a masterpiece and an example to follow when making remakes.

Nearly everything has been redone from lighting, to textures, and even the majority of models.     One of the best games of all time got a well deserved re-work. It plays just perfectly today as it did 20 years ago. And wow, the soundtrack of this game ist just still one of the best out there, amazing work! Kudos to the composer!
    If you have never play this GOTY before then do it now! You wont be disappointed!

    Everything I want in a game... lots of pretty environments to explore, puzzles to solve, and light combat. The music and sound effects are great. Modern gamers might laugh at the enemy AI, but it's perfect for me, a button masher. I loved it on GameCube but never finished it... I will this time though. Thanks Nintendo!

    Amazing. Great intro which reminded me of super Metroid in every way, and beautiful visuals. The controls feel great on switch and the game is hard to put down. A must buy for anybody who enjoys games, especially this kind of game. It feels like Metroid‘s ocarina of time, in the best way possible.

    This is a top 10 game of all time and has been remastered beyond what I thought was possible on the Switch. So happy I can play it on a modern console with dual stick controls!

    A phenomenal masterpiece. Better than the original in every way, Metroid Prime Remastered is a beautifully constructed exploration/action game with an immense lore hidden in every room. This is the gold standard of video games.

O mais bizarro desse "remastered" é que a Retro (junto com a Iron Galaxy) conseguiram usar até o ultimo grão de tech do Switch, porem isso me preocupa um pouco em relação ao Metroid Prime 4 (se graficamente vai ser muitoUm dos clássicos do gamecube que eu mais joguei junto com Zelda Wind Waker, Metroid Prime Remastered é uma obra prima onde o game é mais um Remake do que um Remaster.     Most of the negative reviews here are by Steam Deck owners and Nintendo haters. Don’t read those, they’re irrelevant! The game plays amazing! Would even say better than back on the GameCube! It looks way better too! Such a fun time with this gem!

    Definitely recommend this game to anyone who’d love to experience an amazing game!

    I own the original prime, gamecube, wii, wiiu digital versions. This stealth dropped and purchased instantly. Quite simply put, this is the best remaster I have ever played. It's 60fps on switch, and one of the best games of all time is now possibly the best switch game since botw. Absolutely incredible work of art and instant masterpiece.

    Nintendo does it again. Shadow dropping a classic reimagined in modern graphics and modern controls to relive one of the best the GameCube had to offer with no hiccup or compromises. Easily one of the best looking games on the switch and a must play for anyone who hasn't already

    If ever a game deserved a 10, this is it. And with dual analog gyro aiming, HD rumble, 5.1 surround, flawless 60fps at sharp resolution and lush new visuals, I wish I could give even higher.

    This game was a easy win for Nintendo. It is a masterpiece which a lot of modern players didn't have the opportunity to play. The graphics are updated and the game got really beautiful. Besides that, it runs softly at 60 fps. Totally recommended.

    Simply fantastic Remaster. The twin stick + Gyro controls are so well done the gameplay is now faster. The visuals are clean and the framerate is locked at a rock solid 60. This is still very much the original game so it speaks for itself, and with all the effort put into modernizing it, I'd say its deserves a shot at GOTY.

    This game has an everything the original had and made it better. The animations, the character design, the art style. It is such a great game and great way to reintroduce the prime series. For them to be bring it back in the modern age is amazing and $40 for a remaster and a game that broke the evolution for Metroid that is a steal!     Un juego exepcional una exelenete remasterizacion la mejor para mi ver nomas que no se si soy yo pero en cuestion de el sounctrack se me hace algo como que le falta calidad en cuestion de todo lo demas los diferentes tipos de controles como de GC, WII un hibrido y el de doble palanca son exelentes, la cuestion grafica es exelente

    I've played all the metroid games & prime games. This is a true remaster, the graphics look absolutely beautiful, and the overall gameplay is phenomenal. Beings back so many memories of playing the first one, definitely a must have for anyone that's a fan of the series & new new fans as well.

Gran lavado de cara ,un clásico que podremos ubicarlo entre remasterd y remake ,y que contiene geniales cosas de ambos , cuenta con cambios en la iluminación y en los gráficos ,pero sin modificar ,ni alterar,la jugabilidad que impresionó en aquellos años. Añadiendo mejoras en el control de movimiento,siendo más intuitivo al jugar con los joycon.

    Amazing, atmospheric, a beautiful example of taking a 2D game into the third dimension. Visually, it flourishes with superb art direction, giving each area a unique colour pallet. Wonderful soundtrack, combining electronic synths with a choir to produce a resounding success!

Most Games nowadays really struggle in performance or quality on the Nintendo Switch but not Metroid Prime Remastered. What every magic Retro Studios used shows us that it is possible to put a Game on the Nintendo Switch which feels like plays like butter. Not only did they design    Easily a 10/10.

    A perfect remaster of a perfect game. The graphical upgrade is stunning and the game feels more like a total remake than a remaster. Metroid Prime is finally available in HD and is an essential buy for all Switch owners.

    There are few games that command the title of Masterpiece. Without any doubt whatsoever, Metroid Prime Remastered is fully deserving of this moniker. The fact that minimal changes had to be made to a game that is 21 years old is a true testament of the original game design, gameplay loop and art direction. The icing on the cake for Metroid Prime Remastered is obviously the enhanced visuals and a control scheme that is far more fitting for the modern era. The Nintendo GameCube version may now lay to rest, as Metroid Prime Remastered is the definitive method to play this outstanding masterpiece.
