May 2, 2021Repetitive and boring. Each course is the exact same each time you play them. Nothing new happens.
-
May 1, 2021Waste of money, should be worth way less!! No evolutions, repetitive game... where is all the fun Easter eggs and secret ways to evolve Pokémon?? All gone, feels dull and rushed.
-
May 3, 2021I gave it 1 because I'm a fan of Pokémon, this series should leave the laziness of Nintendo, and gets some Sony high quality love or Microsoft's bigger budget, Nintendo proved again and again that wii was their maximum limit & capability..they cannot do more than that, and I believe that Nintendo still exists because the loyal fans.

May 2, 2021I love the variety of interactions in this game. I have more than 5 hours of playthrough and I just kept exploring the same first areas just because I enjoyed it so much.
It definitely has room for updates for online feature (like following someone to know everytime they have a new photo uploaded) and DLC, but the game has already delivered everything it has promised. -

Dec 23, 2021I wanted to take cute pictures of Pokémon, and New Pokémon Snap lets me do that. The gameplay loop is pretty repetitive, and the NPC's are really bland, but looking through my Switch screenshots and seeing pictures I took of some of my favorite mons brought me a lot of joy.

May 12, 2021It's fair. It's New. It's Pokémon. It's Snap. The original was better, to be honest.
-
May 23, 202160 USD to take photos of pokemons, nothing more.
It's like an Android game but the Android games are a lot cheapier -

Jun 26, 2021This game feels like it was made specifically for 5 year olds. Everything but the graphics is like a downgrade from the previous entry. But even the graphics aren't amazing or anything.

May 15, 2021Boring. It is so sad that they charge the same amount for this game and Breath of the Wild. If BOTW is 60 dollars then Pokemon Snap should be 3 dollars. Because that is how much effort they put into this game. I have never felt ripped off by a game in all my decades, but this is the first
-
Jul 15, 2021I was nostalgic cause I played it on N64 but this one is so bad, so slow, so repetitive...

May 7, 2021This is how you do a sequel!
It expands on the strengths of the original one, and makes some great additions like the star categories that really up the replayability and exploration elements of this game!
10/10. -
May 10, 2021Why does this game has only an 6.9 Rating? It‘s a good game and a true succesor of Pokemon Snap, thats all what i wanted

May 2, 2021I and so many other people have been waiting so long for this. And it has been worth the 22 year wait. It's the perfect evolution. Adding features without ruining what made snap so great in the first place. The graphics are on point.
-
May 4, 2021One of the most relaxed pokemon games, my favorite part about this game is the interactions you have with the pokemon. For Example: Throwing an apple at a pokemon making it wake up (and sometimes make them angry). Overall 9/10, but I am going to give it a 10/10 to balance out the bots.

May 4, 2021Great game! It's really fun when you take great pics and upload em. You'd be surprised how many sweet medals you get! Adding effects to make you're pics look nice takes time, and after you see the results you begin to feel like a true artist!
-
May 2, 2021Bandai Namco really pulled through with this spin off. The graphics are gorgeous, the gameplay is super fun, the music is great and the Pokemon have new cries that more fit them. If you bought the old Pokemon Snap, this one is definitely recommended.
-

May 2, 2021Great game that really feels like a nice revival of the original game. It is missing some things that could make it better (like you can't evolve pokemon to get new pictures like in the original game), but overall is a fun relaxing game that stayed true to the original feel.
-
May 2, 2021This is everything a pokemon snap sequel should be. The world is beautiful and immersive!
-
May 3, 2021It's what you would spect, an evolution from the N64 game, awesome graphics and pretty shots
-
May 2, 2021Amazing. Everything I wanted from another Snap game. It looks great. The Pokemon feel alive. The environments are terrific. The soundtrack is dope. I hope we get DLC with more Pokemon/islands eventually, but there is a large diversity to start with!
-
May 2, 2021Anyone rating this game a 0 probably didn’t play the original. It’s such a joy for those who know what to expect.

May 2, 2021By far the best looking pokemon game ever. Such nice graphics and it's so nice seeing the pokemon interact with their environment and other pokemon.

-
May 2, 2021Brilliant update from the N64 original. The Pokémon are bursting with life and personality, and the graphics are outstanding for the Switch (with rare instances of frame rate drops - looking at you, Wailord!) Quite frankly this is a better-looking, more vibrant and lively Pokémon game than the "flagship" Sword and Shield games. It's absolutely fantastic.

May 4, 2021The return of a one of my favorite games of N64. This game is beautiful and very fun for to play with my sons. I very recommend this game if you are a Pokemon lover.
-
May 2, 2021A wonderful successor to an N64 classic. $60 price tag may be a bit steep for this one but I'm having a blast with it.
-

May 2, 2021A faithful, yet modernized sequel to an amazing game. Impressive graphics with vibrant pokemon in a world full of life. Perhaps the best motion controls I've ever experienced in a video game. Charming and clever pokemon interactions that change and evolve as you progress. An enjoyable, relaxing ride that has a little something for everyone.
-
May 2, 2021I didn’t play the original Pokémon snap, but I had a lot of fun with this one. The game looks great and is a really fun puzzle game
-
May 2, 2021The 0 reviews are wrong. The game is good for what it is. It's a very pretty, chill, relaxing game about taking pictures of Pokemon to earn higher scores, while solving simple puzzles to get the Pokemon to do interesting poses etc. There is no combat or and a fairly basic story, it's about relaxing and photos. It's about an 8 but I'm rating 10 to counter the 0 reviews.

CD-ActionDec 7, 2021In a nutshell: as a researcher, you travel to various places, interact with wild Pokémon and take photos to document their behavior. This simple concept only works thanks to the Pokémon, but it doesn’t have to be a drawback, because the game shows the world of pocket monsters more realistically and vividly than any title before it. [07/2021, p.72]
-
Ninty Fresh MagazineDec 3, 2021New Pokémon Snap looks beautiful and is packed full of exciting Pokémon, but the increased complexity has brought the game to a grinding halt. [Issue #4, p.51]
-
Nintendo Force MagazineOct 6, 2021New Pokémon Snap isn't totally perfect, but it is a lovingly, intelligently updated take on a now 22-year-old original that only came to life because it was imbued with Mr. Iwata's magic. I know seeing this sequel would have made him smile. [Issue #53 – July/August 2021, p. 69]
