Due to its simple setup, NoReload Heroes Enhanced Edition acts as a solid entry point to twin-stick shooters if you're a genre newbie.

If you’re desperately on the hunt for the next Enter The Gungeon then give this one a pass, as there’s simply not enough depth or variety to maintain interest past an hour. The Switch iteration is desperately lacking the online functionality, which ultimately results in a stripped-down version of an already lacking title.

You're not going to play it alone, because it starts to be boring after 30-60 minutes. Cheap couch playing game with friends or even kids (i think 4/5y+ is good enough). Supports up to 4 players with at least one joycon.

Steering is better with two joycons or pad due to existence two analogs. Without them you will run and shoot in the same direction using just one analog.

I bought it for about $1-2 (there's often 90% discount) and played total 2-3h with my non-gamer wife in 6 months.

For a roguelike it doesn't have near enough replay ability; its asking price of 20 USD is absurd for a game that will only be fun for 2-3 hours. When you get farther in the game (at around floor 10) then the game often crashes (it happened to me 3 times) and it has stopped me from ever wanting to play this game again. This game does go on sale though and I've seen it go as low as 3 dollars. If it was 5 dollars and they fixed the crashes than I'd give it a 5/10. I'd recommend skipping this game because there are better games out there and this one isn't very good. Expand

ThisSo, as a person of interesting perspective, I must say that if you want to buy a new arena shooter, just buy Blazing Beaks instead. This game's pause function is horrible. Even if you press pause, the enemies don't get the memo and keep trying to murder you. Yes, you can die in THE PAUSE MENU. WHY?! The game has good weapons, but those are one in a million. The game also crashes when there are too many powerful weapons on screen. And I haven't mentioned death yet. You lose ALL YOUR PROGRESS when-no, IF you die. You'll also lose your progress when you exit the game. And you will see a lot of death too. The first boss is pathetically easy, but then Rubik Mk. 8 shows up and it's all over. You can't beat the game alone. The leveling is unfair too. You all share one freaking EXP. Bar, and you can't even change your abilities for yourself. Everyone counts. If you all agree on the ability, you get it. If not, RANDOMNESS!!! NO. The AI is dumb in the first layer, but the second layer becomes something that's not fun. Freaking turrets? Excuse me? The minibosses are terrible too, but I'm NOT going that far. The guns are also dropped once in a blue moon. And some are unfairly balanced, like a poison weapon which fails to murder anything, but then a helix gun, which is TWO SEPARATE PROJECTILES BY THE WAY, is so much stronger than a freaking rocket launcher. There is no balance at all. Maybe if you got some friends, you could at least find some kind of fun in this. But noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. It's a budget game with a few buttons to use, but even that doesn't save it from bad enemy A.I., easy boss patterns, and no real save feature. I shouldn't have to say this, since it's a bad comment, but really, what can you say? IT'S. JUST. BAD. Expand
