-
Apr 12, 2018Old Man's Journey is an interesting work with a captivating plot and a magnificent visual component that will immerse its players in a unique experience. Its lifespan may feel too short but the quality of the game's design and the challenges presented will be more than welcome by the players and make Old Man's Journey a game that has gained its place in the growing catalog of the Nintendo Switch.

Nintendo Force MagazineApr 25, 2018One of the most accessible, pleasant and comforting games to ever hit a Nintendo console. [Issue #33 – May/June 2018, p. 23]
-
Feb 15, 2018An outstanding story in contrast with slightly repetitive gameplay and its short duration, but that makes it good to recommend for those looking for a relaxed and deep game.
-
Mar 26, 2018Old Man’s Journey takes form as a simple and short point and click adventure, which doesn’t offer much variety when it comes to gameplay or puzzle design. Still, if a superb art style and poignant narrative is enough to keep you interested, then it’s definitely a worth acquisition.
-
Feb 17, 2018If you’re looking for something substantial in the gameplay department, Old Man’s Journey probably isn’t for you. Its main mechanic is neat, but it doesn’t build upon it and due to the lack of any surrounding substance, you’ll be left feeling short changed. But for those that connect with it, Old Man’s Journey will offer up a memorable experience that comes equipped with a meaningful message and a stunning graphical palette.
-
Feb 20, 2018Old Man's Journey is not as emotionally charged as its developer wants you to believe it is, but at least the landscapes that said old man will tread through are beautiful and fit like a glove with the vibe of each moment encountered. Unfortunately, what could be a nice and easy-going, if not a little forgettable, experience, turns into an hour and a half of boredom, due to the needless, and simplistic, puzzle-solving included.

May 14, 2021The controls are soooo bad in dock mode. It's really strange and the title itself is very boring sadly. very disappointing.
