Oct 1, 2019In fact, nothing about Pikuniku bothers me. It’s a happy, fun little game that needs to be enjoyed by everyone who owns a Switch, and the world is a better place with games like this in it.

Jan 21, 2019Pikuniku is a fantastic adventure full of puzzles and exploration. It’s unexpectedly engaging, and even it’s only January, it already is one of our indies of the year.
-
Jan 21, 2019While Pikuniku is a light experience, it's got enough charm and verve to stick with you well beyond completion. From Piku's weird wobbly gait and looping jumps in the opening right through to the game's funny, bizarre ending, Pikuniku is more gripping than its simple aesthetic and playful tone would suggest. It'll make you feel like a kid again.

Mar 4, 2019Pikuniku is the perfect Sunday afternoon game; short, but sweet. It’s an enjoyable romp through a pleasant world, teaching the important life lesson that kicking things is often the simplest solution.
-
Jan 21, 2019The story is surprisingly quick to blaze through as well, but there’s a lot to come across that the game doesn’t really seem to force on you, and Pikuniku’s world and gameplay is just memorable enough that this is a fun little title you may get more mileage out of than you’d expect.
-
Jan 27, 2019Starting as a good joke, Pikuniku quietly evolves into a nice little game with a crazy story. Simple and rather good in everything it has to offer, it’s in some ways a good avenue to introduce kids to the metroidvania genre.

CD-ActionDec 11, 2019I don’t have a slightest clue who for and why was this game even made, but on the other hand I simply have to appreciate the big heart which was put in it. [03/2019, p.77]
