Players will control an unlucky penguin dude called a Prinny and slash their way through various Netherworlds. For this tough-as-nails action game, you're given 1000 units to accomplish your mission, but even with those 1000 units you will have to use everything you find on the battlefield to survive. You couldn’t pay me enough to play through the second game (Prinny 2: Dawn of Operation Panties, Dood!), and that’s not because the first is bad. It’s just incredibly taxing, both mentally and physically. If you’re in the market for an enjoyable but sadistic action-platformer and you have health insurance, consider posing the question inward: Can I Really Be the Hero? Sure, you can, dood. But you might want to meditate before and after each session. Calm, blue penguin. Calm, blue penguin.

I kinda just gave up on the final boss after dying 50+ times. By the way, most bosses are that hard, and the levels aren't much easier. I did have fun, and the dialogue can be funny, but if you only have enough money for one of the two, get the second. Expand
