Apr 5, 2018It’s not high-octane or revolutionary fare by any means, but Swim Out has a quiet beauty that gives it more in common with chess than Tetris, and that sort of thing is hard to come by nowadays.
-
Apr 9, 2018Swim Out is an acceptable puzzle game. We have seen all kinds of games of this genre, but this one focuses on the classic gameplay of moving around squares deducting the movement of the surrounding objects. Progressively difficult, its art and music designs fit all the swimming.

Jun 6, 2018If you’re looking for a solidly-made puzzle game, you could do a lot worse than checking out Swim Out. It’s got more than enough content to keep you entertained for a good amount of time, and it’s relaxing enough that you can pick it up and play whenever you want without feeling like you’re going to get sucked in and lose a day. There are definitely better games out there, but, for any puzzle aficionado, Swim Out is worth a look.

Mar 20, 2018While cool concepts and ideas are awash throughout Swim Out, the dawdling pace of the 100+ puzzles drowns the more novel ideas. This is, for better or worse, an alright puzzle game that just happens to be in a sea of better ones. Good for a laidback romp, but not for much else.

Apr 14, 2018Swim Out is a game that impressed me because of its creation and mechanics. It's a good recommendation for anyone who wants to play a good puzzle's game. I believe that a little art variety would be very nice to the game.

Apr 8, 2018The genre may be getting a little crowded on Switch but Swim Out ranks higher than most.

Apr 25, 2018Swim Out is a well crafted, relaxing puzzle game. What it lacks in innovation it makes up for in polish, the puzzles are well designed and the game never overstays it's welcome. Switch owners looking to scratch that puzzle itch would do well to go for a few lengths with Swim Out.
