Jackbox Party Pack 1 & 2 each contain their own unique set of games for hours of hilarity with your friends, and having this available on the go with the Switch makes it all the sweeter. Each pack contains a wide variety of games such as the first containing You Don’t Know Jack and Drawful and the second containing Fibbage 2 and Quiplash XL. Solo players beware, this game is primarily for parties.

Overall I was really impressed with the quality of games included in Jackbox Party Pack. All but one of them are very solid experiences that can always dish up a fun time. I was literally on the floor laughing during a game of Word Spud, and every other game brought out the best (and worst) of my friends and family. Of course your mileage will vary by how many people you can play with, so make sure to invite many friends to the party if you want to truly have an event to remember.

If you are able to get a decent group of people together and understand that it's inevitable if not completely ideal that this game requires an internet connection, there is plenty of fun and laughs to be had here. There's a good mixture of trivia, improvisation and interpretation that's sure to cause a stir among friends and family, and the added bonus of being available on the go (with a Wi-Fi hotspot) makes this set a great time.

Having 100 players able to join in is a major selling point – you can see the live streamers encourage their fanbase to get involved, so of course that would be a lot of fun. However, on the other hand, there’s a bit of a problem in that so few of the games are able to be played with less than three players. Yes, it’s a party game, but people in general simply don’t have that many people around with them to be able to play the game often. Then again, that could be a blessing in disguise.

You Don't Know Jack 2015: Just play the newer one.
Fibbage XL: Just play the newer one.
Drawful: Just play the newer one.
    Word Spud: Terrible.
    Lie Swatter: Filler.

Verdict: Basically the equivalent to a sports game. Just buy the newer ones, or cheap out and get the older version if you REALLY want.

This pack is the definition of average. It's probably the worst pack in the series, but that's expected because it's the oldest. So, let'sThis pack is the definition of average. It's probably the worst pack in the series, but that's expected because it's the oldest. So, let's review the games in the pack.

YDKJ 2015: It's the main reason people got this game in the first place, it being the most familiar one due to the TV shows and card games. The video game can be fun, and the host is funny, but there's really no reason to play this version over Full Stream. 6.5/10.

Fibbage XL: A great game. Create lies, hope people pick those lies instead of the truth. Simple but entertaining. But it suffers the same fate of YDJK 2015: there's no reason to play it over Fibbage 2 or Fibbage 3. 7/10.

Drawful: The best game in the pack. Somebody draws something random, and people enter in replies t what they think it's supposed to be. The person who drew it says what it is as well, and people have to choose what the drawing is. It's basically Fibbage, but with drawings. I prefer it over FIbbage only because I think it's sequels (Drawful 2 and Drawful Animate) are worse than the original. 8/10.

Then, we have the downsides of this pack. Word Spud is one. Word Spud is hot potato but with words. The thing is, it can last forever. And that sucks. You have to add words to the last letter of a word, and other players can choose if it's allowed or not. It's boring and uninspiring. 4.5/10.

Lie Swatter. You get a question. You answer if it's true or a lie. That's all there is to it. Boring, unoriginal. It's literally just truth or false. The only special thing about this game is that you can play with up to 100 players. 2/10.

Anyways, it's not that good, but Drawful is pretty fun. 6/10 is my overall rating.
