With it's clever web-based hosting that allows anyone with a smart device to join in, as well as it's hugely entertaining selection of games, The Jackbox Party Pack 3 on Nintendo Switch makes for a splendid, instant-party game tool for family and friend gatherings. There's something in this pack for everyone to enjoy and enough content to encourage repeat play.

The Jackbox Party Pack 3 is an excellent collection of games perfect for parties, made even better now that you can conveniently take that party anywhere with the Switch.

Overall The Jackbox Party Pack 3 is a nice little collection of party games to enjoy as long as you have a solid internet connection and 2+ friends with their own web browser of choice. With the portability of the Switch, playing with friends has never been easier. The unique controller scheme takes some getting used to, and some of the games are better than others, but if you are a party game fan then The Jackbox Party Pack 3 would be a great addition to your Switch library.

The Nintendo Switch is steadily increasing its plethora of party games, and The Jackbox Party Pack 3 is a perfect addition to zany multiplayer experiences. With five unique titles from which to choose, its charming presentation and hilarious challenges more than make up for its sometimes uneven mechanics. You’ll be screaming all night… in laughter, of course.

The Jackbox Party Pack is an investment for parties just like any other tabletop or board game. It's not something you'll play every day but if you have friends or family over a lot and you can work through the games and have a tonne of fun. There's nothing remarkable about the Switch version, but it doesn't need to be - The Jackbox Party Pack 3 stands on its own.

While this game is a great set-up for hilarity, it's regrettable that it can't always execute its own punchlines. However, it's an excellent title if played with the right crowd. It's a great selection of party games, and is worthy of a place in a Switch library accessed by groups of friends. Due to the nature of its controls, however, don't expect much in terms of portability.

The Jackbox Party Pack 3 is when they started to get really good. Every game in this game is at least decent.

Quiplash 2: The best version of Quiplash. It's the same game we know and love, but more polished and clean. Also, a better Last Lash. It even featured multi-language support giving it the brand "Quiplash 2: Interlashional." And custom episodes. 10/10.

Trivia Murder Party: A insane serial killer hosts a trivia game where you fight for your life. Get it right and you get $1000 and are safe for that round. Get it wrong and you're forced to play a minigame. Most of them are fair, but then we have minigames like Fingers and the Loser Wheel which is a lose situation. In almost any other game I would blame the game devs for making it stupidly unfair but he's so hellbent on killing you that it makes it understandable that [redacted} would make the game unfair for you. But the thing is, the second one is almost better in every way. It's still a fun game, though. 9/10.

Guesspionage: The definition of "decent." It's a good filler game. One person guesses a percentage of something, the others either say higher or lower. The final round is trash though. It's not amazing, but it's not bad... it's Guesspionage. 6.5/10.

Tee KO: Good drawing game where you draw a design on a T-Shirt and make a catchphrase, and then other people will get that drawing and catchphrase. You yourself will get people's random catchphrases and drawings and use those to create a T-Shirt. Then it will start a gauntlet pitting people against each other, and people vote on the best T-Shirt. It's unbalanced because some are of course way funnier than others but that's okay with me. 7.5/10.

Fakin' It: The original Among Us clone, but I can't say much about it because you have to play in person. It's still fun, I guess. 5.5/10.

My overall rating is a 8.5/10.

    Jackbox Party Pack 3
    The best pack so far
Jackbox party pack 3 much like the others is played with phones rather than controllers, and this is my favorite pack of the original 3 so far..
Much ike party pack 2 I highly recommend playing with at least 4 players
im gonna start with my least favorite gamein the pack.. Tee KO.. you each draw random things and come up with random slogans… this can be full of plaughs as you pair random drawings with random slogans.. all probably super inappropriate, and then vote on the favorite shirt.. and really this one just isn’t fun.. this gae asks too much of you.. you do have an option for the game to tell you what to draw, but I feel this should be the default so the tees don’t turn into a bunch of penis pictures
the next pretty okay game is guesspionage where you guess what percentage of people do this or that, and then the other players guess if the actual perecentage is higher or lower… pretty basic, decently fun random trivia, but the remaining 3 games in this pack can be an absolute plast, theres quiplash 2, and or that reason there is no reason to buy party pack 2, the sequel is right here, its better as you can put in your own fill in the blanks, but once again your job is to fill in the black with the best thing you can come up with, funny or not and get the most votes, but I personnaly feel depending on how well you do in the other games, quiplash can turn into politics rather than whos actually came up with the best answer, that’s the problem playing with fewer people, it can just be too easy to pick out who said what… then theres the best 2 games introduced ti the party pack family, fakin it where one player is the faker, you all get a prompt on the screen to hold up fingers for how many times this or that has happened to you, or raise your hand if you ever did this, but the faker has no idea what they are raising their hand for, or why they are pointing to this player or that player, fill in the blank when you gave totally different questions… this can easily be the most fun game with a group of people in all of the jackbox party pack games… and finally there is trivia murder party…. Will this game eventually get boring?
Yes, but it’s a long time full of multiple rounds before this happens, the goal is to escape live, answer trivia, and whoever gets it wrong has to battle it out in a mini game for their life, you if lose youre murdered and your only chance of survival is escaping in the final round, when your ghostly spirit can steal the body of the remaining alive player…
Overall I reallu loved Jack Box Party 3 and of the first 3 games, if you have Party Pack 1 and 3, youll keep you and friends entertained for days..
I give Jackbox Party Pack 3
    an 8/10

The Jackbox series is unique in the sense that anyone with an internet connected device (phone, tablet, laptop, etc.) can join the lobby and play. It is one of the few games I've owned in my lifetime that keeps everyone in the room entertained. For those of us that are of legal age, it's the perfect game to drink to. However I would not classify this specific pack as a must own, as this game only truly shines when you have 4+ people in your lobby. Party Pack 3 is also the weakest lineup of all the Jackbox packs. Quiplash and Fakin' It are the two games in this pack that stood out to my friends and me. Tee-KO and Trivia Murder Party are not fun, which is a shame because Tee-KO is the only drawing game in this pack and the drawing games in the previous two packs are a some of the most addicting games. All in all this is a fantastic game to keep a room of 8 people entertained. If you're new to the Jackbox series, start with Party Pack 1 to get a better feel for what the series is like. For the $25 price tag, this game is worth it. Expand

But let me add another word before insane, how about situationally insane. Hilarity will most definitely ensue if you have enough people in your house to play with you, or if you are a streamer on Twitch, but if you don't fit those criteria, this game has nothing to offer other than single-player Trivia Murder Party. Why does Trivia Murder Party support single-player? I don't know and its boring regardless. Besides this, Fakin' It and Tee K.O. lack the same laugh factor of the other three entries. If you visit friends, stream, or live with lots of people frequently, this is exactly what you're looking for. If not, maybe you should invest some time into looking for new friends. Expand

First things first, if you plan on playing this game with less than 3 players its extremely hard to justify the purchase. I bought this gameFirst things first, if you plan on playing this game with less than 3 players its extremely hard to justify the purchase. I bought this game going into it knowing that the 2 player experience was going to be lackluster. That aside playing with 4+ is where the game starts to show its potential, the fact that each player has to have a separate smart device is the main hurdle, if everyone in your party has a phone/tablet you should be all set.
Some of the questions are out of left field and realistically nobody ever should know the answers, although the difficulty can change drastically from question to question it still is enjoyable to an extent. I only played the game for an hour or 2 with the wife and we had a good time, the commentary and jokes were pleasant. I would love to have more of a game show game mode that would work Best with 2 players to get the full experience with just 2 people. In short if you don't plan on getting together with 4 or more people, just pass on this game until there are more modes hopefully added. If you have 4+ friends that enjoy a challenge pick it up for the price.

Trivia Murder Party: Again, really good, but just buy the newer one.
Guesspionage: Just guess the percent. Pretty decent filler, lol.
Tee KO: The second best Jackbox drawing game.
    Fakin' It: No.

Verdict: Basically the equivalent to a sports game. Just buy the newer ones, or cheap out and get the older version if you REALLY want.
