"Saber Interactive has set a new standard for Switch conversions - now other developers can no longer blame the hardware. It is not a perfect depiction of the earlier versions technically, but that was never really the point. For those who intend to play on the TV, then console or PC versions are preferred. But if you want to carry with you one of the biggest adventures of recent years, there is no doubt. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on Switch contains everything we loved about Geralt's latest adventure and is the ultimate proof that the game has unbelievably more substance than just a detailed world." ... No me voy a extender en mencionar todas las bondades que tiene, pues esto lo podréis encontrar en cualquier otro análisis de Xbox, Pc o Ps4; me ceñiré al apartado gráfico en Switch. Con la última actualización, que permite acceder a la configuración visual, el juego se ve increíble. Si bien en la TV es menos disfrutable, en modo portátil es una verdadera experiencia visual, se reducen enormemente las diferencias con máquinas de mayor potencia, y, el poder disfrutar de esta aventura en cualquier sitio y donde tu quieras, no tiene precio. Considero que este port, con la nueva configuración gráfica, vale cada céntimo que pagues… Expand

So now short review...
High score because of portability and huge surprise for the fact that this game appeared on Switch.

Switch is a compromise and because of that I did not expect great graphics (in comparison to PS4, XO, PC). I expected smooth and pleasant gameplay and CD Project Red delivered!

+ smoothness
+ portability
+ port of one of the best RPGs of all time

- battery drainer
- poor graphics (though still within the expectations)
- crazy expensive for such old game

I gave 10/10 because I think the game deserves it and I love it, but just to be fair to you all I must say one more time:
If you have other console and you don't intend to play it in portable mode - DO NOT buy it. Buy any other version! You will spare lots of money and the please of playing on on big screen will be MUCH better (mostly because of the graphics).… Expand

While the visual and auditory downgrades are obvious, the technical achievement of getting such an immensely large game to run as well as it does on what is essentially a glorified tablet cannot be understated. The entire game remains intact in the Switch release, which the developers even managed to fit onto a 32GB cartridge. The ability to transfer save files to and from PC is a masterstroke, and makes for a far more compelling experience. I have the freedom to play the game portably on the Switch wherever I want, alongside the option to (rather seamlessly) transfer my save to PC and continue exactly where I left off with 4K visuals and a higher frame-rate when playing at home. It's a truly wonderful combination that I hope more developers take advantage of.… Expand

Tiene un mundo abierto increíblemente grande, y lo mejor de esta versión es que puedes jugar en ese magnifico mundo siempre que quieras! La historia hasta donde he jugado es bastante buena e interesante. Gráficamente el juego no está mal, recuerden que es una consola portátil.
El sonido se ha mantenido en la misma, la banda sonora (excelente) y la calidad del audio no han sido afectadas.
El rendimiento es muy estable, me ha sorprendido lo bien que suele mantener los 30FPS, claro que en algunas zonas con más movimiento hay algunos bajones, nada que afecte la jugabilidad.

Duración: 10/10
Historia: 9/10

In switch, you have a game of 720p resolution with low quality and blurry texture of 480p. Passable at best in handheld mode, disgusting at worst in docked mode.

Adding the lackluster, slow and clunky combat, lengthy cinematic with mediocre dialogues and cringe characters, repetitive world locations, caves and fetchy sidequests, slow map traveling with the unresponsive horse control, coupled with the frequent dark cave environment and the stupid trailing in the form of detective exploration, you have a game resembling of low budget open world ARPG that should be avoided at all cost.… Expand
