Xeno Crisis feels like a lost classic from a bygone era of gaming – a brilliant twin-stick arena shooter which wears its influences on its blood-drenched sleeve. The stern challenge may prove to be off-putting for casual players, but it rewards dedication with some of the most intense and addictive blasting action you can find in the genre. Convince a fellow player to join in and you've got the makings of a co-op classic.

Xeno Crisis is undoubtedly a solid throwback to co-op twin-stick shooters but with so many better options available, it's difficult to wholeheartedly recommend. That being said, you probably won't regret buying it if you're itching for more retro action.

XenoCrisis is a tough as nails twin-stick shooter that will keep you coming back for more. On the standard (Hard) difficulty, I wage that it'll take the average player at LEAST 10 solid hours of hardcore Xeno-smashing before they can *finish* the game. My only gripe id what appears to be a memory leak issue, causing slowdown/choppiness after about an hour.

*Spoiler* If you use ANY continues during the game, you CANNOT fight the final boss, and instead will die like a little **** on the laboratory floor.

Muddy visuals, enemies that flood you and even spawn on top of you, constantly running out of ammo in a game where you shoot things, an unreliable dodge roll that poorly rips off Enter the Gungeon, boring boss battles with artificial difficulty such as swarming enemies at you and shooting the boss causes it to flash constantly which is an absolute pain on the eyes and makes it hard to concentrate. All of this wrapped up in a package with barely any content, starting over constantly and having very few weapons to choose from, though you only get to use any other weapons for only a few seconds anyways. This is trash Expand
