An excellent, painfully brief piece of storytelling, with some decent characters and a lot of heart.
While fans of the series may miss Max and Chloe at first, The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit sets a bar for Life is Strange season 2 that’s just as high as 2015’s time travelling adventure. Chris is a charming, observant little kid, and his alter ego Captain Spirit provides a gripping side adventure in this two-hour long prologue. Dontnod, I am ready – give me season 2.

Emotional and very well done prequel. It's short (about 2 hours) but it doesn't take more to get into Chris's life. Good for Dontnod.

Chris is probably one of the most sympathetic characters I've ever played. I really like the game's story!

Dontnod gives us the perfect tease of Life is Strange 2: a fresh and emotional story seen from the eyes of a normal kid.
Despite some narrative clichés, the little prequel of Life is Strange 2 proves to be very effective in intensity and emotion.
This prologue will have completed its mission: to give the fantastic adventures of Life is Strange 2 the opportunity to take flight.
Simple and almost trivial at first sight, The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit lets the player be amazed by being so accurate. Life is Strange 2's introduction chapter gives us a glimpse of one little boy's boring Saturday morning being transformed into a space odyssey thanks to the power of imagination. Neither surprising nor challenging, the game will still easily deserves another playthrough for those whom want to witness every situation it has to offer. Too bad Captain Spirit lacks delicacy in so many ways.
The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit attempts to set the stage for Chris and his heroic adventures, but the execution is lacking. Its lack of focus, along with its robust “Awesome Things to Do” chore list, make its two hour runtime drag out far longer than it has any right to.
Was a nice Adventure play that little Part to Life is Strange 2 , the Story of Captain Spirit ist awesome i cant wait see more

Неплохая история, которая пропитана проблемами мальчика про потерю матери, и алкоголизмом отца. В начале, она мне казалась скучной бродилкой. Но уже где-то под середину ощущаешь как мальчику плохо без отца. Прошел я игру з некой скорбью, и сразу же после того начал проходить Life is Strange 2.
Так что, игру вполне можно пройти да бы понять часть сюжета в Life is Strange 2.

while i haven't actually """""played'''''' the game i dont have to this isnt a **** game its a REALLLLLLLLLLY bad visual novel, and im hesitant to even call it that because at least even some of THE WORST visual novels are actually interesting on their own, i say on their own because the way i experienced this game was through the Friends Without Benefits letsplay of it, and let me tell you that is one of the the FUNNIEST series on the internet period, and that series and that series alone is what saves this game from a 0, in short DONT play this game if you wanna experience this game watch Friends Without Benefit's letsplay of it, seriously its REALLY funny, W A T C H I T
