    The Devil’s Third is a hell of a lot of fun because it breaks every rule in the book. I would take that, technical warts an all, over the glistening and safe nonsense that we’re exposed to from almost every other shooter out there.

    The best thing we can say about its campaign is that it works as a tutorial. The multiplayer mode is the key of this title, but you need to understand how it really works to make the most of it.

    A complete disaster saved by a competent online multiplayer. Devil's Third is ugly, with bad control, and is boring... Itagaki must have been napping while developing this.

    Uninteresting combination of unpolished elements. The campaign quickly bores and multiplayer turns out to be only slightly less monotonous.

    If there's a game that fits perfectly as a kusoge (the term that Japanese gamers use for terrible games), Devil's Third is definitely one of a kind. Itagaki's experiment is a total failure in all of game's aspects: bad gameplay mechanics, terrible narrative and poor graphics make this title something to avoid.

    With just five hours on the counter, barely anything gets time to truly sink in. Add to this the technical issues and the inconsistencies of the presentation and you have a game that could have benefited from a bit more playtesting.

    It is quite clear that Devil's Third was never intended for the Wii U. It feels completely out of place. It's fitting that the only Wii U-specific feature Devil's Third uses is the GamePad's poor battery life, because it gives you an excuse to turn it off.

    It doesn't have the best graphics, but you probably will forget about it when playing.

    Totally recommended for action-games fans.

    Note: I´m putting this game a 10 because the gamers that are putting this game a low score neither played it nor have a WiiU to begin with.Note: I´m putting this game a 10 because the gamers that are putting this game a low score neither played it nor have a WiiU to begin with. Just to put the overall score in a more realistic average.
    Now i will divide my review in two sections:
    Single Player:
    * Fun
    * Unique approach to an already established genre
    * Graphics wise is not top notch BUT IT DOESN´T NEED TO BE !!! Unless you are a graphics whore.
    * Loved the boss fights and some cool segments in each level
    * Average enemy AI (Yeah it´s not top notch but it isn´t crap also)
    * Epic music and SFX
    Score = 7
    Multiplayer
    *Among the best of this entire generation !!! Yes i´m counting PC, PS4 AND XboxOne.
    *Fun
    *Sense of progression like few games have done
    *If Splatoon is good (i like it) this is a Masterpiece !!!
    * Zero lag or technical problems
    Score=10

    Overrall = 8.5 (if you own a WiiU this is a must play game PERIOD)

    Devils Third is a fun game and while people complain about "Bad graphics" I think they're not that bad and they don't even matter, most of theDevils Third is a fun game and while people complain about "Bad graphics" I think they're not that bad and they don't even matter, most of the people writing reviews just want to hate on WII U and hate on this game for being WII U, they see reviews and decide to write there own on here to give it a worse rating.
    The multi player is a blast and I would pick it up just for that and it's so fun that I'm giving it a 9

    Singleplayer:
    In my personal opinion it's entertaining to play it. But it has balancing issues. Sometimes it's hard as hell, sometimes a piece of cake. Sometime the KI has lapse. Nothing game breaking or annoying but noticeable. I found one bug where I wasn't able to pick up a weapon. If the action on the screen gets very chaotic the game has some frame drops. The levels are very linear. Overall: If you give Sonic Boom a 4 out of 10 and Sinic Boom was glitchy and boring then Devil's Third is easy a 5.5 out of 10.

    Multiplayer:
    No lags, full servers, unlockables, lot of weapons and maps, clan system, different modes, leveling system. This part of the game rocks as hell. Only let down are the microtransaction for styling gimmicks. You can buy golden eggs. But you also get them for leveling up. Overall I would give a 8.5 out of 10.

    Now, what's weighting more? You spent maybe 7h with the singleplayer and uncountable hours with the multiplayer. It's the same with Battlefield or CoD. I never cared about the singleplayer in those games. So if you red my review till here you can maybe now understand why I give this game a 7.5 out of 10.

The enemy A.I. leaves a little to be desired at times. Sad this game will do poorly just because the critics tanked it. Expand
