This is easily the best LEGO title released so far, and also easily the best Marvel game produced, full stop.

Lego Marvel’s Avengers is a wonderful recreation of the source material.

Fans of LEGO games and the Avengers movies will find plenty to like, but technical shortcomings mean it falls short of its full potential.

It just feels particularly unnecessary thanks to the existence of Marvel Superheroes. [Issue #20 – March/April 2016, p.72]

I'm going to get this out of the way right now. The game features new and old, good and bad, famos and obscure characters. Not all characters wanted were featured. We will talk about them soon. The team up abilaty looked cool to me when it was at E3 2015, and in the game, its OP as heck!

Here is the BAD. For the wii u version, the game will crash at random after one hour, or in the Ragnarok, x-ray, kroviac, and ronan bosses, if 2 characters enter the fight in single player.

Ok, now lets adress the big elephant in the room. Remember the fantastic 4, X-men, and deadpool in the last game? How do I put this lightly?...FOX is greedy. Fox has X-men, giving them 200+ characters, do they need 5 more? And I could complain about spider-man, but he was planned to be in the game, and lego pulled a smash bros. and released him and 5 other spider-men...and girl.

Overall, Lego Avangers may have some problems, but is still a good game. I'm making this at 11:45.

Stay tuned for a good rivew of Super smash brothers 4 wii u.

Adhering to the MCU limits this game's storytelling ability as well as limiting its color palette. Everything is too drab and misses the whimsy and fantastic-ness of its predecessor. Also, like all Lego games, the Wii U version ultimately has some performance issues that you won't find in the PS4 or XBone version. Expand

The story is also a great parallel to the movies and has subtle bits of humour to go along with it.
What it does wrong: Stability. I'm hoping this is only true of the WiiU port, but you can't play this game for more than an hour without it freezing and effectively shutting down the console (as in, pressing the power button on the controller actually restarts the WiiU)! That's an epic fail and surprising Nintendo let it slide. Unfortunately, the instability of the game really takes away from the fun as you suddenly find yourself restarting the console and restarting the last mission, hoping to get more than 5 minutes in case the game crashes again.
