Level 22 is a delightful re-creation of some of the best parts of the retro stealth action games. It's mostly a "one and done" affair as there is little reason to return after you've completed it, but odds are you'll spend an entire afternoon playing through it.
Level 22 is an intricately designed stealth game that is high on challenge making it a should buy for an enjoyable experience throughout.
A stealth game with a unique difference, Level 22 is a funny, smart, and enjoyable experience let down slightly by the smallest of flaws.
Featuring interesting level design, a cool pixel art aesthetic, and a quirky sense of humor, LEVEL 22’s restricted vision and reliance on trial-and-error often left us wandering the halls in frustration.
Level 22 is a refreshingly unique stealth-'em-up which is unfortunately hampered by restrictive camera controls.
It simply calls for a level of precision that you're not easily afforded on the device, thus turning a potentially fun and challenging game into an overly-frustrating affair.
Level 22 needs some crucial fixes if it hopes to be a competent Metal Gear tribute.
