Breath of the Wild's latest DLC The Champions' Ballad has some problems that cannot be ignored, but its best parts exceed even those of the main game.

I love runing in the fields it warm my big toes runing around mindlessly was good. Combat is 9/10 the open world was deff good end

Will there be more, perhaps post-endgame DLC down the road? It seems highly unlikely at this point, but knowing that a new Zelda is likely pretty far on the horizon, maybe Nintendo can surprise us in 2018. As it is though, Breath of the Wild definitely benefits from this DLC pack, and while it might not be a big enough draw for players that have essentially wrapped up the main story, it certainly feels like a nice boon to those of us that have yet to 100% the game.
Through such arduous trials, the Champions' Ballad pushes Breath of the Wild's mechanics to their limits, whether combat or puzzles. Hence this quest leads to discover all the subtleties of the gameplay, and explore this world deeper with no stone left unturned. Although the riddles are often composed of familiar refrains while the delicate, then ultimately moving narrative remains in the background, this expansion makes The Legend of Zelda : Breath of the Wild even more unforgettable.
The Champion's Ballad has great sanctuaries, the best final boss in Breath of the Wild and some good extra stuff, but is poor in story and doesn't add anything new in terms of gameplay.
The Champion’s Ballad DLC is a nice addition to Breath of the Wild, but not an essential purchase. Great for people looking to return to Hyrule, but casual Zelda fans might want to wait for a sale.
As inessential as most story DLC tends to be, but despite a few unwanted encores this is still an entertaining, if unnecessary, story expansion.
This is my favourite DLC of the two by MILES! Yes, the Trial of the Sword is cool, and you can get a double attack Master Sword with stupidly high durability forever, but this one has a MOTORBIKE! A MOTORBIKE!!!!! After getting the motorbike, I never had to walk anywhere ever again! It's got drift physics and it can jump and you can rev it up and... it's perfect. It's a very niche reward for doing all the work you have to do. Man, I love the one-hit obliterator challenge as well. Very fun beginning to the list of enjoyable quests you have to do afterwards. You also get a few exclusive memories which I think give the characters some more personality than in the ones in the base game. It was an incredible addon! 10/10, very much recommend.

Not recommended.
Other than the dungeon, which is fantastic, and the completion motorcycle item, this DLC is boring and forgettable.. Same generic goblin enemies and same dull cutscenes make this the worst "Story" DLC I have ever played. Nintendo, look at Witcher 3's DLC to see how to make a season pass worth it.
