It might be a little on the short end of the spectrum for the price, but the replayability offered compensates for the fact that it is not a terribly long game.

It is an interesting adventure, but this version leaves some room for improvement, taking into account that two years have passed since its original release.

The Rivers of Alice has some deep themes that I didn’t really get, but I definitely felt the emotions associated with them. The beautiful graphics and unforgettable soundtrack make me want to stay longer in this world, but the short run time and lack of replayability make that difficult.

The Rivers of Alice: Extended Version is an absolute treat for the senses.

The Rivers of Alice is a vehicle to display the talents of its artists and musicians. The adventure is short and simple, and if not for the loading, slow movement and obscure puzzles, it could probably be finished in under an hour. Of course, game length does not equate to game quality, but with its other flaws taken into account, it's hard to recommend Alice to anybody who isn't already deeply invested in small indies.

The Rivers of Alice is a rather linear visual adventure that while exhibiting well-crafted artwork and sound atmosphere, can become too slow paced and inaccessible to be considered as a groundbreaking game. It also has a rather short lifespan, which should be kept in mind by the players at the time of making a choice, even if it still features enough contents to be appreciated by those who enjoy the genre.
