The bottom line is Critter Round-Up packs a lot of fun into a short period of time.
At 1,000 Wii points ($10), Critter Round-Up is a good choice for light puzzle action and wacky multiplayer fun.
Critter Round-Up has its charms, but there's not quite enough here to justify the $10 price tag.
Compared to other WiiWare games, however, it is a different story, and the game's uninteresting, uninspired gameplay and mediocre presentation definitely places it in the "not worth trying" category.
The simple fact of the matter is that this game is just too sluggish and doesn't offer up enough gameplay variety to keep most people's interest for more than a few minutes.

There's nothing terribly wrong with all this in theory, but the game's shocking lack of polish makes even this rudimentary gameplay a real chore to get through.
