With a killer track list, exciting new Quest mode, Roadie Battles, and more challenges and star rewards than most of us could ever earn in this lifetime, Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock is easily the biggest and the best installment of the franchise to date.
-
It's a bit user-unfriendly but in terms of features this is easily the greatest Guitar Hero game yet.
-
Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock is a nice addition to the series: the brand goes back to the origins, with an excellent tracklist strongly focused on rock and metal. If you're a fan of the genre, this is definetly a must buy.
-
Jan 12, 2011With any music, the tracks included are what can make or break a game and those featured in Guitar Hero Warriors of Rock really bring out the best, and whilst the new approach taken by Activision and Neversoft doesn't really change the core gameplay much. The music helps make this one of the most compelling Guitar Hero games to date.
-
It doesn't break any new ground, it just offers up a solid, fun, and still addicting package. If you're a long time fan, Warriors of Rock is a no brainer. If you're a newcomer, just be aware of what you're getting into.
-
Oct 24, 2010Warriors of Rock is pretty much the same as the previous Guitar Hero, with the exception of the new campaign. Curiously enough this only weakens the game. The tracklist is varied enough to warrant a purchase, but developer Neversoft will have to come up with something more original for the next game in the series.
-
It could have been made somewhat better by more accessible, easily relatable songs, but with an otherwise lacking career mode, everything about Warriors of Rock reeks of regurgitated design decisions and a desire to simply make as much money as possible without really trying to add anything new.
