This is the breakout, must-buy hit that WiiWare needed to justify its existence. LostWinds is a beautiful and unique exploration-based platformer that takes full and natural advantage of the Wii's control setup.
Fresh, quirky and original – and better still, only seven quid. What are you waiting for?

At about one-fifth of the price and length of a full-scale platformer, it's pretty, polished and fun. LostWinds is one of the most recommendable downloadable games from WiiWare.
There is a playfulness to LostWinds that will surely extend its playtime beyond the bounds of narrative. [July 2008, p.95]
LostWinds is short, but it's worth the price of 1000 Wii Points. More important is that the game plays like dream, when it comes to controls and visuals. It's simple but hits its target. They should make more of these games on the console.
I doubt it’ll get much talk time for “hardcore” gamers. It is a fun game, and it is a steal at 1000 Wii points. If you’re looking for a fun game that’s easy to start playing and the family would enjoy you can’t go wrong with this game.
