Fly over the ruins of ancient Greece and avoid falling into blazing sands or perishing in the claws of cruel harpies and hydras. You will need the help of Zeus and other benevolent gods from Olympus to summon their powers. They will let you cast rays, modify the scenery and control winds as you wish. By making your own wrist movements and pointing to the game screen, you will be able to achieve these and many other feats. Fly, aim and shoot using your Wii Remote™ controller. Play with a friend and maximize your abilities: While one controls Nyx, the other will control the powers from the gods. [Nintendo] Expand

  1. A beautiful looking game which is also lots of fun to play. It’s true that it is not a massive game, you should be able to beat it 100% in just 3 hours, but those 3 hours will be completely filled with pure platforming bliss. This is exactly the sort of thing we want to see more of on WiiWare and comes highly recommended to all.
  2. This is the best WiiWare title yet, and clearly one of the greatest games from the Wii catalog.
  3. NyxQuest: Kindred Spirits is old-school at heart, but completely innovative and fresh when it comes to gameplay. It's an excellent adventure that defines the gold standard for WiiWare.
  4. I finished the game in just under four hours. After that, it was another four hours to collect all the Easter eggs and unlock the bonus level. Eight hours of cosmetically solid, wholly original gameplay is worth the ten bucks in my opinion.
  5. It’s lovely, and if there’s any criticism to be made, it’s that while NyxQuest effortlessly builds into something delightful, it never quite manages that little extra twist that distinguishes a truly memorable title. Even so, that’s still enough to make it stand out from its WiiWare peers.
  6. There are many drawbacks to NyxQuest: Kindred Spirits, and they make this a tough game to recommend, especially with a 1000 Wii Point asking price. But players looking for a slow-paced platformer full of puzzles will definitely enjoy the experience.

It's TOO short and in this game that's a sin. Atmosphere, music, controls, and colossal elements make this a memorable game. I think it is expensive, you pay a book and receive a comicbook. Expand

Though some compare the game to Lost Winds, and it is very similar to that game, it is much, much better. Don't listen to people that say it is not that long. More annoying that anything. Difficulty is so-so, puzzles could have been MUCH better. Good OST, okay story, bad gameplay.
