Nintendo GamerGreat value. [Mar 2010, p.75]
-
It's nothing new, but it's still a fun story for less than half the price of the DS version.
-
If you're on a budget, or just don't have access to a DS, then this is a fine way to sample its abundant charms, provided you don't expect anything special in the presentation department.
-
This edition of Phoenix Wright is a "basic port" of the DS version of the game. The game mechanics is excellent, not the presentation.
-
This port gets an F for effort, but that might not be enough for me to not recommend it -- the game is still good. But I'm definitely not going to praise Capcom for what little work the company did to bring it to console.
-
I do hope to see Phoenix eventually make a worthwhile appearance on consoles, one that lives up to the great legacy the series has now built up for itself. This one, though, isn't a crowning achievement for Capcom, and throwing your money at the game will probably only serve to send the wrong message to the publisher.
-
The only reason to buy this game, is that it's 30 euro cheaper than the Nintendo DS version. And that's only when you are an Ace Attorney fan.
