Players run, jump and battle enemies as they explore all the planets in the galaxy. Since this game makes full use of all the features of the Wii Remote, players have to do all kinds of things to succeed: pressing buttons, swinging the Wii Remote and the Nunchuk, and even pointing at and dragging things with the pointer. Since he's in space, Mario can perform mind-bending jumps unlike anything he's done before. He'll also have a wealth of new moves that are all based around tilting, pointing and shaking the Wii Remote. Shake, tilt and point!     Mario has not grown older, but younger with time: more slender, more supple, more graceful. It is as if the boundaries of the genre have become transparent, allowing a unique light to shine forth. Super Mario Galaxy will influence gaming perceptions, sure to replenish any lost passion. It will frequently hug your inner child, evoke tears of joy and tug at the heart. It is everything we have always desired, more than we could possibly have dreamed.

    Super Mario Galaxy is an out of this world experience that is spectacularly amazing in every imaginable aspect. It creates a constant sense of wonder that manages to permanently transplant a grin on my face while playing. Even when I died I was smiling. No game has ever done that to me before and it's truly a testament to how perfectly fine-tuned it is.

    Nintendo always impresses me. Mario Galaxy was the best Mario game i've ever played, it's just really fun. I completed the whole game, andNintendo always impresses me. Mario Galaxy was the best Mario game i've ever played, it's just really fun. I completed the whole game, and wanted more. I like the graphics, and the planets with yoshi are awesome. I loved playing this game, and deserves a 10. No game is perfect, and this one isn't, but is really really good. If a game was perfect, it would score more than the site maximum, so a 10 is fair.… Expand

Now comes Super Mario Galaxy, and the magic is back. All the important things about the game's perfected controls and audiovisual representation has been told, but what truly makes this game a classic of the ages, is the combination of everything that happens in the players FEELINGS when playing it. This is what only a few games can achieve, and the mediocre disney- type fooling around Ratchet & Clank is really not among those, even it is basically a "good" game. With Super Mario galaxy, only three games has affected my feelings such a way: Zelda: Ocarina of time and Twilight princess, and Final Fantasy VII. To be in league with these magnificent games speaks for itself: Mario's adventure in space is one of the best games ever made.… Expand

    If you combine Mario's clunky swimming with the orbital effect and no free-roam camera... you've got a game-play nightmare.

    I also hate that if you go to the library in the hub, you get dragged into this long **** dialogue with Rosalina which quite frankly made me want to shoot her in the face. I made sure to NEVER go into the library after that. Despite these two complaints, Mario Galaxy has some of the best platforming and world design in all of games.    … Expand

    It's a very bad game like the rims in a cressida 1980 or the gearbox of suberban !!!
