Apr 10, 2012Even if you don't normally play strategy games l encourage you to at least try the demo for Anomaly Warzone Earth. It might look like another Command& Conquer or random tower defense game on the surface but there is something truly original, highly challenging, and compulsively addicting with this game. And even if you already own this game on PC or iOS, I daresay the Tactical Trials is worth a double-dip. At only 800 MS points, this is the best $10 you'll spend in the Xbox Arcade this month.

Apr 7, 2012In case you don't have a computer to play games on, this XBLA version of Anomaly Warzone Earth is just as good the original, and one less reason to avoid putting off playing this game.

Apr 20, 2012Anomaly: Warzone Earth does something different with the tower defense genre and does it well. You're dropped in the middle of the action and always have something to do. The Tactical Trials are a great addition to this XBLA version of the game. They are fun and make you try something else. A great game, for only 800 Microsoft Points.

Apr 6, 2012The constant shuffle between real-time mobile defense and time-pausing tactical route planning is both seamless and nerve-wracking. Even after you know every crisply rendered map back to front, you may find you just want to keep playing.
-
Apr 17, 2012Anomaly Warzone Earth was a fun game when it came out last year for the PC and the development team has done an exceptional job bringing it over to the Xbox 360.
-
Apr 22, 2012Porting over to a console had no adverse affect - short of the lower res visuals - making this one of those 'must own' games for any console tower defense fan.
-
Apr 13, 2012AWE is a great idea, wrapped up in a bland package. Visually, the game is fine, but it just seems to lack punch. If you are a fan of Tower Defense games, and are looking for something a little different, then it certainly is worth checking out. Ultimately, AWE is missing a certain something and probably has little lasting appeal.
