  1. Ben 10: Alien Force: Rise of Hex is a good game that will probably appeal to fans of the show who can understand the underlying elements contained within.

Lame animation and boring level design. [July 2010, p.81]
  3. With an 800 Microsoft points ($10 USD) price tag, Ben 10 Alien Force: The Rise of Hex is positioned as an impulse buy, but even then, it fails to impress. Take away the license, and you're left with an extremely generic platformer that manages to achieve mediocrity at best. There was potential here, but it went unfulfilled.

A waste of ten dollars. It has mundane, awkward platforming, no story context, and a strange difficulty imbalance. There are countless platformers more worth your time.
  5. On the whole, Ben 10 Alien Force: The Rise of Hex is a poorly developed Xbox Live Arcade title. The repetitive puzzles, the short story mode and the lack of decent game modes doesn’t deem the game a worthy purchase – especially at the 800 Microsoft Points price tag.

    In short, it's a stinker. [Issue#61, p.104]

Sigh. This campaign. I almost can't believe it's over when I think about my life nowadays. It had a rocky start, that was for sure, but soonSigh. This campaign. I almost can't believe it's over when I think about my life nowadays. It had a rocky start, that was for sure, but soon things were moving at a swift pace. There was never really a dull moment with the cast and I really felt like I was getting involved in the hilarious adventures of team shinji.

The cast had many lovable characters, but in the interest of time I'll just stick to the core characters that appear the most throughout the plot.

So the game starts out at the princesses coronation (lame!) where a wandering hero, a sexual deviant of a hero, a little girl (who isn't actually there but they meet up later cause the cleric is so cool), a dancer that may be a prostitute and finally a midget on a llama have gathered. It's then that Modekaiser (rumored to be the fabled Numero Uno) has attacked and takes all those mentioned above as hostages. Why? Iunno. Just kinda happens don't you judge me.

They escape though and break a rock and a guy named exil is like "aha i was the bad guy who numero uno!". Everyone was super shocked and for a while the princess was kinda a lame punching bag for cadis. cadis is my favorite character. I guess you could say she CADIS lovable.

anyways a bunch of boring stuff happened, then they had a beach section, and then luan exploded. That's as far as I got though because I didn't want to buy the DLC episode to get the true ending so I just had to deal with the one where Ryder hooked up with Alice's mom. If I had anything to say about this game, it's that Piacula is a dank meme and totally bae.
