May 31, 2011Kung Fu Panda 2 isn't going to kickstart any hard core gamer's engine, but it is a satisfying experience for the kids.
-
Jun 13, 2011In the end, this game is definitely for younger children and although the Kinect is not as accurate as we hoped, it is still playable and we finished this game in around four hours of play.

Jun 1, 2011Kung Fu Panda 2 should be commended for trying something new and mostly succeeding. The fighting, while in no way deep, is responsive and fun, and the minigames control pretty well. It could have looked a little better, but the sound was nice enough. The game length does hurt, and since a good chunk of that time is spent watching the game instead of interacting with it, it's difficult to recommend Kung Fu Panda 2 for purchase, especially at its current price point. If it gets cheaper, it's not a bad purchase for fans, but for now, it's best as a rental.

May 27, 2011The Xbox 360 version of Kung Fu Panda 2 is not only the best version in terms of quality; it also seems to capture the spirit of the movies in a way the other versions don't.

X-ONE Magazine UKJul 25, 2011Quite short. [Issue#74, p.89]

Aug 26, 2011Even judging by kids standards, Kung Fu Panda 2 is ruined by flaws like bad movements recognitions and long load times. There are better Kinect games out there.
-
Jul 24, 2011Kung-Fu Panda 2 tries to bring kung-fu feeling in your living room. With bored round-based fights and a bad Kinect sensoring too much potential get lost.
-
CD-ActionAug 2, 2011Punches, kicks, blocks and dodges in front of the Kinect translate surprisingly well to Po's movements. Loading times between these 1 on 1 fights are very long though. [August 2011, p.73]

Official Xbox Magazine UKJul 13, 2011Kung Fu fun that quickly wears thin. [Aug 2011, p.101]
-
Jun 28, 2011Still the best Kinect game your correspondent has played.
-
Jun 1, 2011Kung Fu Panda 2 may win over fans on the cinematic front, but I can't say the same about its Kinect counterpart. Kung Fu Panda 2's charming cast of characters do a great job of moving the Kinect title's story mode along, however lag in full body combat sequences and noticeable lack of polish in minigames do little in making the user feel like the ultimate kung fu master.
