I love this game, it is a very nice way for a stress relief. Just blowing things up not giving a **** what you blew up. One word to describe it Awesome
If you are looking for the best weaponized vehicular combat game, well Full Auto is the one. As they said, this is the most destructible racing game ever. Pretty much every face of a building can be destroyed. Also, this extends to the cars, with still the best damage models ever in a racing game, excluding BeamNG.drive. The weapons feel balanced and are really fun to use, with rockets, machine guns, shotguns, grenades and more. Many can be aimed around helping to land your shots on opponents. There are different car classes with a wide range of cars to choose. Split screen is also great fun, with it much more refined than other games I've played. My main complaints with the game is its bad performance and floating driving physics. Other than this, this game delivers high octane action with destruction environments that still impress to this day. Do yourself a favor: If you got an Xbox 360, pick this game up. You won't be disappointed.
The number of play modes is impressive at first glance, but since most are only slight variations of "drive-fast-shoot-to-kill" scenarios, the typically entertaining action can grow repetitive quickly. The control is also reliable and spot-on, but the wonky, loose arcadey physics are entirely unpredictable and make some driving scenarios tough to predict.
The racing isn't as deep as it could have been, and the game's race-first, shoot-second design keeps the player from making full use of all the armaments at your disposal.
There are around ten hours in the single player mode, but it begins to grate after the first. Chances are the remaining time will be spent purely to earn some 360 Achievement Points. Entertainment? Tedium.
Full Auto is a crazy fun, brilliant racing game, which is like the video game equivalent to Death Race.
Full Auto's standout features are Unwreck[a rewind feature which is when rewind features started to come into games],destructible enviroments, and weapons attached to the vehicles
Graphically,Full Auto looked great for the time it released in 2006,and to this day, hasn't aged too badly since then.Presentation is pretty good too.
The sound is decent with licensed music, decent engine noises, and great gun and explosion sounds.
Gameplay is where Full Auto shines, with balanced cars and weapons, great tracks, and good game types.Choices you have weaponwise range from rocket launcher to dual-wielded machine guns on the front, and grenade launchers to smokescreens on the back.
The game features a pretty in-depth career and split-screen multiplayer as well,so there is definitely replay value here.
Overall,Full Auto is an absolutely great game, and is definitely worth a play.
My dream came true. It's racing game with guns... lots of guns. Racing is fine, graphics and physics are awesome, but there are also a lot of other cool features, like rewind/replay. I played this game for weeks and months, racing and destroying the city.
At this time (2010) you can probably get this game really cheap and it's worth it for a laugh. The off-line single player is pretty decent. You won't want to play it straight through or anything. But, it is pretty fun and something you'll probably come back to from time-to-time.
I think the online would be really fun, but alas no one has been in the game lobby when I've tried to test that out. Anyone who has or gets the game that wants to play on XBL send me a message at gamertag=ItsHimAgain
SummaryFull Auto combines fully-automatic, weapon-equipped vehicles with highly detailed urban landscapes, offering the most destructive environments ever featured in the racing genre. In Full Auto, the city of Staunton is held hostage by a mysterious group known only as The Shepherds. As a retired driver, you are coerced by the Shepherds into ...
