In fact, it's the most exciting superbike racing we've played for a while. [Dec 2008, p.83]
  2. MotoGP definitely isn’t one of those games, I doubt it has done anything out of the ordinary, but it is a game out of my regular interest and a game that’s definitely recommended by conformists and non-conformists alike.
  3. MotoGP 08 is the best chance that motorcycling fans can find at this moment. Its control is fine, and the presence of the Career Mode assures many hours of entertainment.
  4. Overall Capcom has done a great job with MotoGP 08 and while some diehards of the series may grumble a bit at the changing of the guard from Climax and THQ to Capcom.
  5. A good racer, if you’re a super bikes fan, otherwise it is pretty average.
  6. An inauspicious beginning for Capcom's new motorbike series that has little to offer even committed fans.

Die-hard fans of the real-life motorcycle racing championships will no doubt be interested in this game just for the personalities, prototype bikes and tracks. They’re all here, but that’s where the fun ends. Overall, this is a functional but unexciting trip to the races.
