SimonS.May 17, 2006Tally mode. Tally mode. This game is great I've lost hours to tally mode. More slow burning than geometry wars but also a damn sight more addictive.

AndymanMar 7, 2006This is the game Geometry Wars Evolved and Crystal Quest wish they could be. 89 levels, 2 different gameplay modes (Adventure and Tally), 1-player and 2-player co-op modes, numerous powerups, many difficulty levels, incredible boss battles, outstanding electronic soundtrack... what more could you want? Just go get it now!

It's not the most immediately compelling arcade-style shooter in the world, but this top-down shooter has enough additional difficulty settings to make it entertaining, especially if you're into online score tracking.

Although you’d have to be a real top-down blaster fan to own Geometry Wars and Mutant Storm Reloaded, it would be hard to pick between the two. Mutant Storm Reloaded is possible a bit more well-rounded, although it’s hard to argue with Geometry Wars’ TRON-like setting.
