Whether you are on land, sea, or the white sands of Davy Jones Locker, there isn’t a more swashbuckling time to be had and Jack Sparrow is the quintessential pirate hero.
-
Overall the game is not great, but better than your average movie-tie-in, and if you like sword fighting or pirates in general, it could be worth your time.
-
I'd even go out on a limb that it's probably one of the best movie to game renditions I've ever played (although that's not saying a whole lot), and it would be perfect for the youngsters.
-
There were times when I was getting into the action despite the repetitive fighting. A lot of the levels are well-designed and if you're a Pirates fan, it does a pretty good job of transporting you into Jack's world.
-
It is perhaps the very definition of mediocre. Combat is repetitive and boring, but not particularly flawed in any way, except perhaps for the weak AI.
-
Pirates of the Caribbean : At World’s End keeps the cycle of poor movie to game transitions going. While it maybe a visually impressive game, that doesn’t make up for the lack of depth in the gameplay and uninteresting story.
-
The combat's inexcusably awful. The duelling is absolutely mind-numbingly uninspired. The platforming and exploration feel tacked-on, overly basic and adds little variety, and the fetch quests plumb new depths in their tedious pointlessness...One of the most dreadfully vacuous and uninspired movie tie-ins in recent memory.
