2064: Read Only Memories presents an interesting, if not predictable, narrative that is propelled by its strong cast of characters and excellent world-building. It’s refreshing to see a developer put so much care into creating a cast as diverse and interesting as this.
2064: Read Only Memories is an excellent cyberpunk adventure for anyone looking for a point-and-click title inspired by games like Snatcher. Don't forget the catchy soundtrack.

It’s actually a good game. Excellent voice acting with multiple endings. Reminds me of those 80’s cartoons. It’s a shame idiots have been review bombing this game here. Those complaining about it being "political"... that's the actual plot of the game... you know what a plot is, right?

Finally, a game for true conservatives!
The MAGA levels in this game is off the charts! So much representation for the oppressed white male minority in America. MidBoss is my new hero. If you're leaning right, give this company your money immediately so that they may not be silenced. Do not listen to the bad reviews for this game; they are misinformation pushed by the demonic left to silence their opponents.

Bugs aside, I had a killer time with 2064. Although series like Phoenix Wright and Danganronpa have successfully reinvented the Japanese-style adventure game for the 21st century, there's a certain allure to the mysterious world of menu-driven microcomputer adventures of decades past. 2064 not only successfully simulates that feeling, it welcomes players of all backgrounds and orientations with open arms. 2064's future is one that belongs to all of us.
2064: Read Only Memories tells a haunting story in a stylish way. Its diverse roster of characters, intriguing world, and masterful soundtrack make for an engaging experience from beginning to end. While there are some minor storytelling and structural hiccups, it nevertheless successfully combines a classic genre with modern trimmings.
Through its creative cast and interesting interactions, 2064 brings its pixel art world to life. Despite a few technical hitches, 2064: Read Only Memories is a step forward in the way games interact and intersect with politics and how storytelling in games can make a statement in today’s climate.
I alternated between enjoyment and stretches of indifference. I am genuinely glad, though, that we have this addition to our growing Western library of visual novel hybrids (!).
2064: Read Only Memories is a great game for anyone who agrees 100% with what its heavy-handed, politically-charged plot forces down your throat without question. However, like a political conversation on social media, 2064 is long-winded, overly aggressive in its message, ill-presented, and accomplishes nothing.
This is a solid little game in the vein of late 80s/early 90s point-and-click adventure games. A simple but fun mystery set in a futuristic cyberpunk setting, with a good soundtrack, great voice acting, and a nostalgic look and feel. The gameplay is casual, but to some degree that reflects the genre of game as much as anything else. Ignore the bulk of the negative reviews, which seem to be more about the politics of the developers than the game itself.

I am not into pixel-art games,but since i got i give it a **** story is good and it has good **** 90% of the game(if you call this a game) is dialogue between the characters.There is almost no gameplay **** you like storytelling without any gameplay than this game is for you.

One of the few instances where you should go with the critics score, user reviews are politicized, politics ruin videogames, the devs were stupid enough not to know that.
Remember critics scores can be over inflated or in some rare cases, underinflated, so better yet to skip it all together and get Nier Automata, more lewd content is always better, and it's sure to trigger more lewd content in the future. Thank goodness for Japanese immunity to western political correctness stupidity.

Game bleeds wokeness throughout. It's a shame because the story/voice acting is good. I'm not sure if the port is just meh, but there's extreme input lag for password sections or even to type your name in the beginning.

A mediocre retro adventure game with an overt left wing message. If you want to bathe in the glow of your prescribed progressive point of view, you will get far more out of 2064:ROM than i did. Its not a bad game but its virtually impossible to enjoy if you lament the inclusion of preachy politics in your video games.
The issue with a game like ROM is, its built on the foundation of its ideology. That causes anyone who disagrees with any of its premises to have trouble enjoying the experience. Even if you are apolitical and merely would like to get lost in a game, i fear its impossible to escape that hammer the game bangs you in the head with, repeatedly.
If this review seems far too focused on things other than the actual game play.....then you understand exactly how it feels to play 2064:ROM.
There is something there for a very specific audience. Are you part of that audience? If, like me, you are not.....i wouldnt spend money on and engage with 2064:ROM
