    "Metal Slug" is a SNK classic. A cartoony, humorous take on "Contra", it inspired several sequels that added new features and playable characters. Simple, but fun, it's a rousing blast to play through especially with a partner. Dopey foot soldiers, fighter jets, enemy tanks and gigantic machines of mayhem are what stand between you and victory. The "Metal Slug" of the title refers to"Metal Slug" is a SNK classic. A cartoony, humorous take on "Contra", it inspired several sequels that added new features and playable characters. Simple, but fun, it's a rousing blast to play through especially with a partner. Dopey foot soldiers, fighter jets, enemy tanks and gigantic machines of mayhem are what stand between you and victory. The "Metal Slug" of the title refers to vehicles you can use to bring maximum destruction. This ACA port includes 7 levels of difficulty, a Hi Score Mode and a Caravan Mode (a 5 minute mode). If you love retro shooters, than you'll find "Metal Slug" to be great fun. I would rate it with an 8.7 out of 10.… Expand

    There is an awful lot to like about ACA NEOGEO Metal Slug. Charming graphics, unforgiving skill based gameplay, pad bitingly hard bosses and a touch of slowdown combine to make a heady brew.
