The graphics are pleasing, the gameplay is addictive and it has a great soundtrack. While I was craving more unique game modes, the title still didn’t disappoint. It’s a great experience.

The core gameplay is slick and addictive, and while the additional game modes (however many millions of them there might be), are largely irrelevant in the long run, the core mode and mechanics are more than strong enough to make this a realistic twin stick successor to the long serving Geometry Wars.

AIPD is a very well done game from its awesome blue and red ‘Tron-like’ graphics to its fast paced, fly around shooting style. It takes concentration and skill to make it to the top and the extra difficulty each level brings out makes it a must have for those times when you just want to kill some alien spaceships. It is a great play and definitely fun once you unlock some of the later content.

A captivating, yet not much original, twin stick shooter capable of delivering a good experience to lovers of the genre, but its lack of real innovations and variety ends up making it quickly repetitive.

More than a Geo Wars clone, with plenty of options and a lot of fun to offer, but being too short to really last on our minds.
  6. Jan 22, 2016
It’s not an original game, nor a particularly memorable one, but it’s still a decent twin stick shooter with good graphics and tight gameplay.

There is a lot of action and quite a bit of entertainment to be found in this twinstick shooter. Unfortunately it is quite short-lived as well and lacks content.

APID isn't a bad game, but it doesn't do anything new or particularly well. Still, is a good choice if you're just looking for some shooting action.

AIPD is a solidly-made twin-stick shooter with some nice ideas. The problem is that it just isn't fleshed out enough.

AIPD: Artificial Intelligence Police Department is a solid twin-stick shooter, which takes a lot of inspiration from Geometry Wars. However, while it's fun to play in short spurts and can be made quite challenging, there's little variety to be found and the game's replayability suffers as a result.
