Among the Sleep executed this flawlessly, and it combines this aspect with a wonderful journey through the dreams and life of a child. I would recommend this game to anyone who’s looking for an experience that will leave you with goosebumps, and a story that will leave you wanting more.

A charming and captivating psychological horror game, bringing us in the fresh perspective of a little toddler in her scary house at night. Too bad for its short duration: we would have liked for it to last more than two hours.

Among The Sleep is your run of the mill psychological horror with a unique perspective and a thought provoking story. A relatively short experience at 4-5 hours long, this crowd-funded game is actually something to be admired, both graphically and intellectually (if you read between the lines).

After waiting more than a year to get my hands on it, I was quite excited to finally play through Among the Sleep. However, that excitement didn't end up paying off. Although it's not a bad game, per se, this is unfortunately a rather slow, predictable, ho-hum and sluggish horror game, which prefers fetch quests over interesting and involved gameplay.

It tells an excruciatingly sad, very real story about a person who is utterly helpless, and it does so using interesting mechanics and scenarios. The controls, aging graphics and lack of replay value, however, make it a difficult proposition to recommend wholeheartedly, so approach with caution unless you absolutely love similar games.
