Between the perfect gameplay, great story, and flawless presentation, Aragami is a stealth masterpiece. It's that simple.

Aragami: shadow Edition brings us a satisfying old-school stealth game, where crouch walking and stealth kills are coupled to interesting mystical shadow powers. Unluckily some performance problems, a bit too basic graphics and somewhat imprecise controls detract a bit from it potential value.

Aragami: Shadow Edition builds upon the initial release with its inclusion of the Nightfall expansion. There’s no shortage of content to enjoy, all of which is served up as a wonderful open-stealth adventure that supports online co-op play. The game’s visuals are gorgeous and well detailed and its mechanics remain fluid and well rounded throughout. Despite some minor issues, this is one hell of a good game.

With a beautiful world, interesting gameplay mechanics and a hearty amount of content, Aragami: Shadow Edition is the best way to experience Lince Works’ lovingly crafted offering of a master-ninja power trip. The future of Aragami is promising indeed.

Bundling up the base game with its expansion and the Assassin Masks DLC, it’s a sizeable game available at half the price of a standard release. For fans of good, old-fashioned stealth, it’s a bit of a no-brainer, really.

Aragami: Shadow Edition has a good level design and comes with a wide variety of content to Xbox One. However, it does have some problems.

While Aragami will be enjoyable, it will start to get dull as you kill enemies (like a blade does). It almost feels like a Batman game where you’re just doing the stealth challenge missions. While it does what it does fine, it feels lacking as an entire game.

The game is a real proof that a game does not have to be an AAA to be magnificent, all over the gamethe are giving us "sneak peeks" of the final, which makes the game even more interesting.

I started the game with low expectations, which as you can see were surpassed with flying colors, now I am real in the wait for aragami 2!

Thankfully Aragami: Shadow Edition does get those mechanics right and to say I enjoyed my time with the game would be quite the understatement. Speaking about the mechanics this game doesn’t just boast excellent stealth mechanics in fact it has a number of different mechanics in play at the same time and they pretty much combine together flawlessly throughout your time with the game, which is great. Obviously the biggest draw with this game is it’s stealth kills and combat. I’m not exaggerating when I say that performing these stealth kills never gets boring and the combat on the whole feels fluid and responsive at all times thanks to the fantastic controls. Whilst there may not be any issues here the game does suffer with a few technichal issues every now and then, but thankfully none of these issues are too much of a problem and in the end you do end up forgetting about them quite quickly. This is a good thing because in terms of content the game has quite a lot for you to sink your teeth into. This edition of Aragami features all the DLC and when you see the amount of variety the content has it will no doubt keep you satisfied for quite a few hours. Whilst playing on your own is very fun indeed the best way to enjoy this game is when playing with a co-op partner. I must admit that I was very eager to try out the online co-op mode and thankfully it delivered in all areas. Everything about my online experience remained smooth throughout and playing the game this way meant that no game ever played out the same way which in turn gave the game quite a bit of replayability. This included mode also adds even more content to the game and in the end you really do get very good value for your money. Without a doubt one of my favourite things about the game was the presentation side of things. Visually the game has a great dark and mysterious look to it which immerses you in the gameplay immediately. The sound design has also been implemented really well and even though it lacks when it comes to a story the sound design still combines with the visuals really well. At the end of the day fans of anything stealth related will thoroughly enjoy what Aragami: Shadow Edition has to offer. It’s got all the important aspects down to a tee and the best thing is that it remains intriguing throughout which in turn means it’s quite difficult to put down when you get started, and for that reason it gets a big thumbs up from me. The gameplay is fine although the combat system is a bit frustrating. Anyway, it´s a stealth and not a fighting game. The graphics are okay, while the art style is convincing. This game comes with a lot of content! But it has its flaws, like the imprecise controls. Nevertheless a good and surprising game! Expand

The bits and pieces of the story is read through the journals or diaries for each age and it slowly unveils the history of thr game. It opens your eyes on what's going on. Nightfall is like the prequel story before the main one and how the aragami even came to be. I don't know if anyone had the same problems as me but every time I made a kill it would freeze for a few seconds and that literally mean life or death which I died because of that problem. It was constant the entire game and it was frustrating but overall it's a great game if you can deal with the difficulty and the unfortunate glitches. Expand
