If you are an Attack on Titan fan, you should definitely check out Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle. If you never got the second game, you’ll get the most out of the full release. For those that already have Attack on Titan 2, the extra DLC is definitely worthwhile. The DLC itself is equal to the content of the first game, so it’s more than worth it. It’s very smart to release the next season of Attack on Titan in DLC form, since the second game really struggled with new content and the DLC adds to that rather than taking us through the full story again to get to the new plot points. If you don’t like the Attack on Titan games, this game will not change your mind since it is basically more of the same, but for those that did enjoy the past games, you will get the most out of this release.
This is as perfect of a dlc to the original game as it could be,tl the story mode is done much better now with multiple different character POVs, so much level variety, you get to play as variouse characters with their own abilities, and problems from the original game get removed like the boring character episodes and the rpg elemts are practically non existant. You also get so many new gameplay modes with the thinder spears, gun and gatling gun, and if you think that the main story is to short to use them, then you have the new territory mode were you control and build your own regiment in order to take land from the titans. This mode does have problems tho, like needing to replay the same levels multiple times to unlock characters, however overall its just more of the game in a newer way.
A steep price tag and its repetitive nature are the worst parts of A.O.T. 2 Final Battle, but we're sure that every Attack on Titan fan out there will appreciate the countless hours of grinding and fanservice that this title can provide.
AOT2: Final Battle targets the fans who want to experience again the events from the anime/manga. This expansion adds so many content that it will keep you busy for a long time. But it’s very classic and repetitive.
played Attack on Titan game for the first time. this was a total package seriously. Im a huge fan of the original comic and this game allowed me to have that enjoyment that i had from reading and watching original comic book and anime. Gameplay was flawless eventho there s a bit of framerate issue but did not bother me at all. it might be a little repetitive at the end but okay. Highly recommend if you are a Attack on Titan fan.
This is an excellent piece of DLC with new modes including Territory Recovery mode, and Character Episode Mode. Tons of new gear and a lot to keep the game interesting even when it gets repetitive.
First off this is a fun game and if you loved the anime you will love the game. However, if you hate grinding then you will hate this game. It is repetitive like most games but to the point of annoying. If you are part of the 100% club or a Trophy hunter you will hate this game because of the Gallery. To complete the gallery you have to buy and upgrade every weapon and gear and complete every conversation in the game. I get that the devs what you to keep playing but this goes beyond ridiculous. To get the materials to upgrade you have to play on Inferno but it doesn't stop there you also have to play territory recovery mode and there is no real explanation or help. You can buy some of the materials that randomly show up in the game but you have to grind for what they call Wings of Freedom, which cannot be bought in the form of online purchase, but I am willing to bet would sell pretty easily. Sadly at 200 hours I gave up and moved onto another game. Not because I hated it but because I felt it became tedious for me personally and I was no longer having fun. As for the price it is not worth $60.
I loved creating my own character, the dedicated story lines for them and interacting with the characters was everything. I really hope we get more like this.
So far, it's my favorite game and after 4 years I can't get enough of playing it.
There's so much content and it's almost infinite and the story mode is pretty immersive. The graphics is ok and the battle gameplay feels like being part of the anime. I gave 9 to the previous games, but I give only 7 to this one, because I didn't appreciate the poor choice of changing the story telling style in this last DLC. The new fighting style is challenging and I love it though.
